almost everyone has the capacity to acquire knowledge from other people specially when you feel that the intention of the advise is well given...but indeed you are the one with the decision making of accepting or not such advise, therefore you are the one to admire for knowing what's making you feel right to the point of becoming a better person, then what happens is gratefulness and is also known as admiration for other, but is most likely that you are grateful....hope this help.

For me, I find people out there I really admire. But I don't have a crush on them. I just think they are stand up people who tell the truth. Just my opinion.

Hero or mentor. I would only say crush if you were seeking love and affection (or more) from the person

Neither. Its called human behaviour where we try to emulate traits and behaviours in people we think are admirable or will help improve our own condition.
