Remember, Miss P&S will go on to represent us in the Miss Yahoo! Answers Pagaent, so choose wisely. I've seen "Miss Jokes and Riddles" and "Miss Religion and Spirituality," and they're both HOT, so I know the competition is going to be stiff this year. It's OK to nominate yourself.

I've been noticing lately that some people change their proclaimed belief a lot and often, they express their preferrence for one set of beliefs for maybe a couple of weeks and after that period the "newbies" start acting like they know EVERYTHING about it, being very outspoken and acting so very "true". Even lecturing the "oldies" about it.

Now call me set in my ways, but that's just something that wasn't done in my day. I've been taught to respect hierarchy and seniority. Is it just me or do new people not have this reserve at all anymore?

I've been into my current belief for years and years and still I don't go lecturing people around, like some members here that have been claiming their belief for a month.

Am I the only one annoyed by this?

A good friend of mine is going through a difficult period; many in his family and of his friends has had to return to Mexico the past week. Naturally, his family is in distress.

Because today is La Dia de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead), I was considering crafting a gift in honor of their family. My questions:

1. Is this proper practice?
2. If so, what should I consider making?

I know many of the common things associated with it, but I'd like another opinion for some guidance.

Thank you very much

I'm dating this girl and i really like her. we've been dating for like a month and a half, but it feels longer since, i feel like its a very serious relationship.

my problem is, i think we may have gone a little to far. i mean, i really like her and everything, and i liked it, but idk maybe what we did was bad. no i didnt **** her but yesterday we were making out (which is fine) and she takes my phone and drops it down her shirt. i already told her if she did that i would go get it. so i did. and then i was feeling up on her. and i thought to myself, wow this is awsome, but maybe its like against everything i stand for. i'm a strong christian and dont believe in sex b4 marraige. did i do wrong?

also, suprisingly enough SHE is usally the one that makes a lot of the things happen in the relationship. whenever i would kiss her she would give toungue. when we would make out it almost seemed like she wanted me to touch her. i'm fine with the state i'm at, however...h.o. adding more

Let's say there is a girl I like: Becky. She probably likes me back, according to 3 of my friends who understand dating and stuff.

I have a close friend, ashley. We are JUST close friends, she is 2 years older than me and very mature and I respect her very much. She's helped me through this Becky problem when I felt like ****...
Becky hasn't dated anyone for 2 months, the longest time she's been single since she started dating 2 yrs. ago. (we're sophomores).

Anyways, Becky was talking about how girls nowadays feel they NEED a boyfriend to feel good about themselves, and how she doesn't like that, and how shes practically the only girl she knows whos not like that. I said "no, wait, ashley's not like that either". I;ve mentioned ashley a few times, about how I greatly respect her, but only twice in the last month hav i talked about ashley. for 5 seconds each time.

After I said "ashleys like that too" she goes "why dont u just marry her?" in a sarcastic, brisque annoyed tone.

Is so, how come the vast majority of undocumented migrants from Mexico were gainfully employed before they left for the United States. Thus, failure to find work at home does not seem to be the primary reason that the estimated 6.3 million undocumented migrants from Mexico have come to the U.S. Policies aimed at reducing migration pressures by improving economic conditions in Mexico may also need to address factors such as wages, job quality, long-term prospects and perceptions of opportunity.

This (and many other items out there) just proves that the pro-illegal alien crowd has no arguments that are based on facts.

Shes going to a dress up party as a "sailor". the costume is basically a white mini skirt that pracically shows her butt, and the top is a button up shirt that shows A LOT of cleavage, and a little sailor hat. She says its cute but it looks so slutty. The party shes going to has alcohol, and no adult supervision (shes 16) and she plans on drinking and possibly getting drunk. I figure a drunk girl who is so scanalty clad around horny guys at a party will get taken advantage of or raped and she wont listen to me so I said ill tell her mom and she said she wants to leave me! I'm so worried about her weve been together 2 and a half years (i just turned 18) and i cant go to the party becasue of work. Why would she wanna dress like this? and why wont she listen to me about it? I didnt tell her mother but should I appologize about how I acted or stick to my guns?

Naked charity ramblers have complained that the long arm of the law was too heavy-handed in marshalling their fundraising walk.

The group of about 20 walkers was reportedly followed by 10 officers, patrol cars and a helicopter on a 20-mile hike along the path in Dorset.

They were walking from Swanage to Lulworth Cove on June 2 to raise money for the Marine Conservation Society.

But senior police decided the group posed a public risk and marshalled the naturists under a carefully-planned operation codenamed Thistle.

Amoing those who are stinging about the police is Bernard Boase, 63, who was asked to cover up by a police officer halfway through the walk.

He refused and was arrested and charged with harassment - but the case was later dropped because of a lack of evidence.

"The police harassed us far more than we could have harassed anybody else by our presence," said Mr Boase.

He claimed passers-by happily greeted the ramblers, who were wearing just rucksacks a
