I believe there's an option that allows you to pass the leadership to someone else in that group.

Just how old is he-12? Get rid of the loser-you don't want someone who tells you what accounts you can or can't have on the internet-unless you're still a child living at home!

No, when you deactivate your account, everything that has to do with your name is also deleted, including your profile, groups, pictures you've posted or are tagged in, etc.

You can leave the group. The group will still exist but you will no longer be listed as an admin. It happens all the time.
