OK, I'm not sue exactly what you mean.

were you scared, of course you have been scared everyone has and no one really likes i6t well what seems to be happening is that you've begun to experience some anxiety from being scared, SO much that now you may become anxious or fearful at even the thought that you may become scared. there are two thing you could do. firstly, if you feel yourself becoming anxious at any stage begin to breath through your diaphragm. breath in and stick your stomach out wait a second then breath out and pull your stomach in, pout your hands on your tummy if it helps this will prevent you from breathing through you chest and it is physiologically impossible to panic if your body is being relaxed. secondly you could try and pout yourself in a situation where you might be scared, start with something small not big you may find out that being scared isn't as scary as you thought and most of all i just want to say this is perfectly normal, people are fearful of many things all the time and just the though of them sends people into panic, its all part and parcel of being human. x x

Isn't that kind of a double problem, being scared of being scared? Kind of like "All we have to fear is fear itself"?

You need to expose yourself to those things you fear. Your experience will teach you that most of the problem lies in your own head, and you will feel more comfortable. So go out there and get out of your comfort zone. Do something scary - and you will get over it.
