How do I connect this thing if I can't get a picture, but the sound comes on. I have the regular red, yellow and white A/V cables. But I can only get the sound. I also have Satellite Cable, along with a DVD/VCR connected. I can't get the game system connected directly to the TV, but I can get it on the DVD/VCR, since that's connected to the TV with an R/F piece. The Video Selections are : Video 1, Video 2, and Component ( I tried them all). I know this is confusing, but for anyone who is into telecommunications, could you please help me with this. By the way, I'm trying to connect an XBox 360 and the switch is on "TV". I tried all different types of combinations, but I could only get the sound when I put the AV cables in the correct order in the Audio and Video Out sockets on the VCR. I know that I can get an RF piece for the game system, but I've been doing that with every game system I ever got, and I want to know how to do it with AV cables this time.

This guy that I am dating has been playing semi-pro football on a team in Va for 3 years now. He is 28 yo, lives at home with his mother and claims that he has no money to move out on his own. One of my girlfriends told me that she once met this guy who plays on a semi-pro football team and told her that semi-pro players get paid (a good amount of money that is based on the position they play). I recently found out that the guy I have been dating has children that he is not taking care of financially. My concern is if he is on a semi-pro football team and gets paid something, how come he is not taking care of his responsiblities by paying child support. Thanks for your help!

I recently got my friend into the X-Files (woohoo!) and we're supposed to hang out and watch some DVD's this Saturday. So I've only shown her a few (the Pilot, Squeeze, Darkness Falls, and I think that's it) but I want to move to some of the later and lighter episodes.

However, a lot of the lighter episodes dealt with a skewing of the Mulder/Scully relationship (like Bad Blood, for example) which I don't want to do til she's seen enough to establish their relationship and the show as a whole.

Soooo, after all that rambling, what do you recommend as good sort of "introductory" lighter/funnier episodes to the awesomeness that is the X-Files? And then after that how do I kind of shortcut my way through 9 years of mythology? Thanks in advance!

Oh, and I have all the DVD's at my disposal, so episodes from any time frame are fine, though I'm avoiding seasons 8 and 9 for now for reasons I'm sure you are all aware of. :)

Well I'm wondering why Athiests (Please dont hate on me for saying this) try to prove there is no god? What did christians ever do to them? Also how comes they only talk about christians? Maybe because its the biggest religion in the world or something? I've read the bible and it even says that people will try to convince others that god isnt real.
Also, why wouldnt you wanna believe in a God? You have a better chance of Life of Eternity if you do....Just wondering. (If you are a athiest I have nothing against you) 1 more thing, christians never push there believes on people like athiests do (let me know if im wrong with that! Heh..)

We are in bankruptcy, and only have a few months to go before it is over, and we can stop paying the trustee. The forced budgeting was a learning experience, but how can we start any savings plan when we are always broke? We live month to month and can barely make it to the next payday after the bills, bankruptcy and mortgage are paid. I do have a employee IRA, and my employer matches the amount. How do I save and NOT touch that savings for all the $$ emergencies we have? (Broken cars, doctors, etc.)

I'm just curious to see what people do to pick a date. My bf's sister picked 8-8-08, cuz it's cute. My parents did March 23, cuz 23 is my mom's favorite number.

I've heard of people using their birthdays to make a date - how is that done? I'm guessing it depends on when your birthdays are as to how you can combine them.

On a SD! episode getting involved with Batista and Tker or surprisingly at a SS match, you book it, heres mine, how do you like it?

No one can get in a Hell in a Cell match, or so they think, Batista and Taker fight, they are getting tired but suddenly Taker is vune4rable Batista is setting him up for a huge move BB then a chainsaw cuts through the ring, behind him, hes too groggy to notice (a little like old school taker int that Cage match) edge slowly gets out with a smirk on his face in his coat he drops thwe chainsaw, Batista nails the BB they start cheering like they do and then the turn around and SPEAR!!! they announce that Edge will be using his rematch clause in ghios contract, the announcers yell not again! all dramaticly, he gets is about to go for the pin when behind him taker sits up zombie like with blood all ove rhis face, he looks at edge with rage he gets up, when edge goes for the pin he feels hhands around his throat, Taker is setting him up! He liftts him up and the CHOKESLAM! untop of Batista, he goes down and pins them both, thus taking care of both his hated rivals, this eventually sets up for a Triple Threat at WM

She's making a huge fuss over me not wanting to go to any of her family things. We had an agreement that she would go, but i wouldn't, because i don't care or want to know her family, i have told her a thousand times, i care about HER, not her family. We have gotten by like this for almost 5 years. But now, her cousin is getting married and she's really upset cause i won't go to the wedding with her. It makes me very uncomfortable and i feel like she just wants to show off 'the boyfriend' to everyone. She says it's important to her, but what about what's important to me? I've told her if she wants someone to be her escort to everywhere, she should get one, but it's not me, i just won't do it! I hate those things and she knows it. She tries to manipulate me saying that she has gone with me to my family things, but that's cause SHE wanted to, and even so, my family VERY rarely has a reunion. So, what can i say that makes her back off and leave me alone on this issue?
