Can you dye your hair if you are albino?

My friend and I were wondering if someone with albinism can dye their hair, will the color hold?

Yes they can. They lack pigment but their hair is made of the same material yours is. So just as you can dye your hair, they can dye theirs.

Yes but the colour shown on the hair dye packets generally don't come out the same colour in their hair. Also rinses and 8 wash hair dye doesn't hold well but it does create some colour.

I should think so, albinos lack natural piments,if the hair isnt broken destroyed by intense perming or bleaching:), henna would take for sure, but eyelashes and brows should be done professionally:)

if hes naturally light liught blonde toner wont work or the shampoo ;), they are specially made for bleached/dyed blonde hair, the purple temporarely cancels out yellow tones, toner dose the same but lasts longer than 24 hours, so your fried would have to actually bleach his hair then toner it, and use the shampoo. if your relly unsure just ask a salon :)

yes, i used to go to school with a kid who was albino, he dyed his hair once, but it has a tendency not to stay in very long.

Yes, I had albino acquaintance who died her hair black and wore brown contacts.

My godson has albinism. He died his hair a few years ago, and it looked ridiculous. I don't recommend it.
