I just joined a symphonic band this year and my tone is horrible, and I can barely go higher than high D. So, should I take up trumpet classes outside school? If so, where and roughly how much will it cost?

Hello.

I have some documents I have to send to USA by FAX or have to find a scanner to scan them in central Rotterdam.

Could someone tell me where I can use FAX for overseas or a location where I can use a scanner? I thought maybe public libraries have a scanner, but I am not a member of it nor any school.

Can you believe this? Labour nitwits are trying to ban christmas celebrations so we dont upset immigrants in this country!!! This is a christian country and they kew that when they came here. There is no way other cultures would ban their religious holidays incase it upsets us.
Isn't this just bloody stupid.

He has not got a really bad mouth or anything...but every now and then he'll let out a swear word...not F or anything...but other words that I dont want our 3 year old to hear...it's probably about once a week....every time he does it, I instinctively poke him in the ribs os tap his hand or whatever and say "Dont swear!" he goes mad at me for it.....but I dont smack him hard or anything....my toddler doesnt notice me do it....it's a knee jerk reaction....I hate swearing in front of children and I do it because if my child came out with those words I would be devestated....am I wrong as he says I am for poking him or tapping him?

I found a dove that was left in a can of old cooking oil. It's still alive and I took it home. I tried to get the oil off with washing up liquid, but I couldn't get all of it off. Its only a young dove coz it can't fly yet but it has feathers. What can I do to help this poor creature?
