My mom was born and raised in Kilcar Donegal and dad Ahkill Island mayo.It's been a long time sinse I've been over and I was wondering if there have been major changes in these places sinse the 80s. thanks from Manchester massachusetts.

I'm 18, got my GED at age 16, I attended a small medical community college and met a teacher ,whom is 26, whom was for sure interested [flirting, he asked me to be his girlfriend but only AFTER I graduate or no longer attend the same college, since it is unethical, I TOTALLY UNDERSTOOD THAT & RESPECTED IT ]..

I was known as a social butterfly, EVERYONE knew me, since I supposedly was known as the "pretty funny girl" [not in a conceited way, don't misunderstand me ! ]
well, i withdrew from the college last month [career interest changed], I gave my professor my number [ he asked for it]
on my last day, and this was on September 17, he hasn't called since.
His personality traits: shy, withdrawn, introverted

do you think he changed interest because he KNOWS i have friends that still attend the small college, and would feel uncomfortable knowing that ?!
because girls really do gossip alot nowadays, or what do you think about this ?

i took my kids out trick or treating and refused to stay home like he wanted. hey the kids have been doing it since they were born im not about to stop it now just got he got "saved".
he went out with his church members holding picket signs and handing out tracks in salem, ma!
hubby came home upset, people really made fun of him.
i told him this would happen.
why wont he listen to me? i dont like the fact that hes "saved". he is evangelical now. im not. since he got saved he has become a boring old poop, only listening to christian music, and reading his bible and going to church. no longer wanting to go dancing, he stopped playing soccer, and basically lost all his friends with that constant preaching he does.
he says God and church are more important than me and kids and actually told me i was going to hell cause i believe in God but not in religion! he gives 10% of our money to his pastor and try to "forbid" me from doing things I've always done.

this happened to anyone else?

In this sentence, I compared a long history in cultural exchange with a long stream of a river. "the source " means the beginning of cultural exchange.

It must be easy to say this in straight way like ' a long history in cultural exchange between the two countries', but I prefer to use a metaphor.

As a non-native English writer, I wonder if this sentence make sence and grammatically correct.

Would you please help me and give me some advice.

So I asked a question about abortion and got a bunch of answers that really didnt even address my point but there was one moron in particular that stuck out.
She stated that men had absolutely no say in the desicion to get an abortion or not and that all men should just butt out. Now I understand the courts perspective on this but are there women out there so shallow that they wouldnt even talk to or discuss it with their partner? I mean c'mon I am all for a womans right to choose but... shouldnt the other half at least be included in the debates?

I am a cancer survivor and want a tattoo to express my struggle with this disease. Latin not only sounds beautiful but should keep the message personal.

Also if you can help with these other two lines. "Show me the way to forgive" and "Allow me to be forgiven" I used an online translator and got "ostendo mihi quam remitto" for the first one. Is that as close as it gets? I couldnt quite match the second line.

Here is my situation: I am being kicked out of school for being sick, I was told that my class absences would be excused if I provided them with a note from the dr saying I could not attend class on certain days, I have provided the school the notes but they told me yesturday that I have to get out in 3 days, my dorm room is payed for and I have followed the rules can they legally throw me out, I have no where to go and I have a im awaiting surgery for my illness, again can they legally throw me on the street.....what would happen if I just refused to move out, physically cant move out and I have no where to go?

Well, it is becoming winter time so there are expected spiders to come into the house. But it's been more then usual lately.

Mostly in my room. And the majority of them are big ones. My room is indeed, a mess. The other room we've been seeing them in the most is in my bathroom. It's not really cluttered or anything like how my room is. Just needs a scrubbing.

But what's with all the spiders??? My mom thinks it has something to do with under my bed, but under my bed I swear is the cleanest part of my room. There's only a small tool box and a couple of books.

Can anyone tell me why I keep seeing so many of them? Particularly in my room and bathroom?

I went to my doctor yesterday b/c my blood pressure was too high.I knew it was,i felt horrible all day..They took it,and it was 170/104.He gave me meds for it.I took it again this morning,early,and it was 153/102 resting...is this dangerously high?Should i call my doc back?Or does the meds take a few days to work?
