We are adopting a newborn soon and one of our not-so-close friends wants to throw us a baby shower. We only see her a few times out of the year and I really don't get along with her. Why would she be wanting to do this when she never really calls and we are not close??

He does not like sweet potatoes, potatoes, spaghetti, any pasta, omelettes, crackers, most meat except meat balls and absolutely no pureed stuff and so many more things... I am almost going insane, I need other ideas. The only things he seems to like is canned ravioli (not the ones I make at home) those canned ones are not that good because they are too high in sodium and he also likes fruits. Although fruits are good for him, it's not good enough to get all his nutritions. His doc started giving him supplements because he stopped growing since a while back, but still I want to keep trying to feed him other things or re-introduce the foods he hates by giving them different flavors and shapes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A particle travels between two parallel vertical walls separated by 11 m. It moves to ward the opposing wall at a constant rate of 6.3m/s. It hits the opposite wall at the same height and the acceleration of gravity is 9.8m/s^2. I need to find what its speed will be when it hits the opposing wall. I thought it was 6.3m/s but it's not.

I found this weird fly at home, it has SO long legs, two eys, and >long antennae< yes! you hear that right, the weird fly has LONG antennae and THIN body.

I think it's a cross-breed between a housefly and a mosquito, but who knows? It's not the first time that I seen it, I'm trying to find it again so I can take a picture of it and post it online for identification.

I've searched through http://www.whatsthatbug.com/index.html database but couldn't find it there, perhaps because I live in egypt?

anyway, if you don't know it, wait for the photo, I'll search for it tomorrow.

Even printed here - people are confused.

Why do I care? Why do I want strangers to understand so badly? I mean I use simple words - so I will understand myself - and still people are confused.
Is there a record of Holy Spirit giving anyone the gift of confusion?

I got a job a few weeks ago.I haven't started officially working yet, because I've been doing drug testing and all this paperwork.I have school from 8:00 AM-5:30 PM, in my application I put down that I would work from 6:00-10:00 PM. My only problem is in all the time it takes me to catch my bus and change in to my uniform, I have realized that their is just no way that I can start at 6:00,without being late.I'll be talking to my manager on Monday to give him my work permit, but my question is would it sound bad if I told him on Monday that I can't start at 6 and would be better if I started at 6:30 instead?
Does that make me look bad since I haven't officially started work? Do you think I would lose this job? My manager is very nice but I'm just scared to tell him that. Please Help! Thanks.

Just something I was thinking about the other day. Christians believe in the Trinity. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Look at the Bible and who is working when. The Old Testament the Father was working. He was the one who was visible in the World. Then we have Jesus who starts the New Testament. He comes in and brings grace. He brings salvation to man and then He returns to Heaven. Now we are in the time of the working of the Holy Spirit. He is calling men to Christ. He is baptizing. Just a thought I had. What do you think?

Also I know the three work together and are one and all three worked throughout history. I am just looking at which aspect of God was the one working specifically at times.

To move out of your parent's house? To move from California to Texas, probably by bus with my boyfriend. About how much money would it take to rent an apartment, like the first month's rent or however much it takes to first move in? And to get the necessary furnishings? About how much does it take?

There are sharp differences among legal experts and law enforcement officials about the limited protections in the immigration laws, many of which have been upheld over the years by the Supreme Court. Officials point out that the majority of the people deported last year entered the country illegally or plainly had lost any claim to legal status, including thousands of convicts.

“Immigration law enforcement is all about getting you to where you belong, which is outside the United States,” said Jan C. Ting, a law professor at Temple University who is a former assistant commissioner of the Immigration and Naturalization Service, the precursor to ICE. He pointed out that immigration laws are civil codes, not criminal. “A lot of constitutional protections that one would normally expect in a criminal case do not necessarily apply,” he said. http://sweetness-light.com/archive/nyt-illegals-dont-have-same-rights-as-citizens READ THE FULL ARTICLE ON THE LINK IT HAS FAR MORE DETAILS AND OFFERS MORE CLARITY.
