Just something I was thinking about the other day. Christians believe in the Trinity. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Look at the Bible and who is working when. The Old Testament the Father was working. He was the one who was visible in the World. Then we have Jesus who starts the New Testament. He comes in and brings grace. He brings salvation to man and then He returns to Heaven. Now we are in the time of the working of the Holy Spirit. He is calling men to Christ. He is baptizing. Just a thought I had. What do you think?

Also I know the three work together and are one and all three worked throughout history. I am just looking at which aspect of God was the one working specifically at times.

I want to clarify that I am not saying that only one was working at a time or that Jesus could not work in the OT. We know Jesus was there working in creation.

Great way of looking at it. Of course, as Christians we all know it is God, but yes, that's awesome. Another way....

God the Father is the planner who makes the plans, wills it all

God the Son (Jesus) is the One who carries out the plans.

God the Spirit (Holy Spirit) also carries out the plans by keeping and empowering Christians in the plan.

What ya think? :)

God bless and good nite. zzzzzzz

Actualy, since it was given the son to judge and all things were created by and for him... I'd say that the Word of God was the most prevalent throughout the old testiment. Everything Jesus did in the Gospels was the will of the Father... therefore the gospels highlight the Father... and the Holy Spirit has been working since Gen 1:2 and always points back to the Word.

I believe JESUS was present in the burning bush. I believe JESUS was pillar of smoke and fire in the wilderness leading the Israelites. I believe JESUS was talking to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Etcetera. The HOLY SPIRIT was in creation. There are MANY places we may see JESUS throughout the Bible!

GOD bless

The Whole point is they are all separate beings. Both christ and God posessing the Holy SPirit. See the Holy Spirit is what we see as transparent. Shes, like a body of water, and your the Cup , are you willing to clean the in so that jesus can pour some into you?

Well you are good to observe this distint times, the only difference is how God speaks to us.

OT = directly
GOSPELS = Jesus
NOW = Holy Spirit

Its always God doing the work!

Interesting question from an astrotheological perspective...

Christianity represents the new age of Pisces, Judaism represented the former age of Aries, and the age after 'the end of the age' is represented by Aquarius.
