Just say these exact words "Hey (Name) I was wondering if you would like to go to the dance with me? And if he says no then it's his loss not yours.

I know what you feel like because there is a dance in the spring at my school and I don't really know how to ask him. If this guy is a total sports dude then just take some time to think about it. Just casually talk to him about sports or something he likes, and slowly just ask him, you will be relieved after you ask him. But if he doesn't like sports just do the same thing but talk about whatever he likes. I hope I answered your question.

This is one of the hardest questions only because we're so afraid of being shot down. Like everyone says - just ask him. If he says no, guess what? He may not even know how to dance and that's his way to back out. But just ask him and let's see what happens from that point on. Good luck!

Ask him if he is going to the dance? (if he knows about the dance) and watch how he responds. He may just say I would like to, but I do not have a date. In this case, offer to go with him;)

well how are you going to get him or even know if he would go? take a big chance hey you will feel great just smile softly and ask. alot of guys like a girl with guts sweetie so go get um, you only live once.

ooh i love these stuff! depends if you have class with him or not. it's rather hard to ask a guy then vice versa but for one thing, you can get his friends in on it or something. you could always hide in a box & he'd be like WTF and you pop out with balloons flying out or something asking him to the dance. that's just one idea though.
