Am I the only one that thinks boys should still run and play outside, carry pocket knives and catch frogs? and that little girls should still have tea parties?

Recently bought a 5.9 V8 Ramcharger, (1978), and on the drive home, the motor threw a rod. Cant say i didnt expect it, the engine looks terrible. anyhow, I found, i believe an 86 with a 5.2...

Though im not sure if the crank is a 6, or 8 bolt..

Would i be able to just drop this engine right in and go? or..?

I've just moved for Uni and I live in Uni halls. There's about 10 of us that share a kitchen and my stuff keeps going missing. At first, it was milk then it was a whole carton of orange juice, I let this drop since it was just juice but it still made me angry. I have just gone to the fridge to find that now half my eggs are gone that I only purchased yesterday.

I hate thiefs and stealing and this is basically what this is. It's the principle of the matter that I can't afford to keep going out buying things for other people to consume. I have an idea of who it is, but I'm not sure so I don't want to go accusing. On the other hand, I could also talk to a senior resident but I am worried that it'll be seen as 'telling'. I don't know what to do, confront the person? or talk to resident? help!

Not too long ago, I told some people that I plan to stop dating altogether and remain single. (I have my reasons.) They acted as if such a thing were unthinkable! Their constant refrain was, "You'll end up alone!" Why do some people think that being alone is a fate worse than death? After all, marriages and relationships aren't what they're cracked up to be and they're not at all as they're depicted by the media. If anything, I've found that marriages and relationships often cause more grief than happiness for the people involved. There is reason why most marriages end in divorce. THINK ABOUT IT!!!

I noticed that all the recipes say to use celery - but I am out -

but if I boil - carrots, onion, garlic, and some thyme and basil and some salt and pepper - will this make a good stock - or do I need to add something to it?

I just need a quick stock to add to some bean soups..

1) I heard something about an enlistment bonus? if is true, when do i get it and how does it works..and how much ?

2) If you can't do something, what actually happens.... Let say they tell you to do 30 push ups and you are just too tired to do it... What happens?
