This is insanity.
The liberals are so obsessed about hurting the "feelings" of non God believers.
Have they forgotten that this country was founded on religious freedom?

The secularization of America must STOP!
We cannot let these communists take over America.
We cannot forget the roots of foundation for America.
We cannot forget our Judeo-Christian values responsible for helping shape America.
We cannot forget our God given liberties.
We cannot forget that we are one nation under God.
We cannot forget that the God being referred in on the U.S. Capitol is not just the Christian God.
We cannot let these commie atheists take reshape American values.
The insanity must stop!
God believing LIBERALS AND CONSERVATIVES should all be in unison on this.

This nation was built upon Christian principles.
The majority if Americans are religious believers -- if someone doesn't have the same belief system, so be it. They could at least respect that fact and let it be instead of trying to take away from us and change this country.

Look, I'm no liberal. Far from it. I'm a conservative Libertarian. But this is one thing I agree with the libs on. You say 'God'. Who's god? And what makes the Judeo-Christian god the right god. And since when did religion have anything to do with good government? How about logic and common sense?
You far-righters are so sanctimonious in your connection between God and American government and yet you lambaste liberals for their fanaticism. Aren't you opposite sides of the same coin?
Fairy tales and ancient doctrine have no place in today's government. Let's leave that stuff in church where it belongs. Please.

This is nothing new, any references to God were removed from the Constitution before it was ever drafted. I guess all these claims that our country being founded on Judeo-Christian principles are wrong, otherwise there would be some mention of it in the Constitution. Thomas Jefferson professed himself as a Unitarian. Apparently, according to you, Jefferson and the rest of the founding fathers were Communists.

For such a patriot you sure like to suggest that we do very anti-American things. I know because it says so right in the constitution. See below.
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

How about if it is specifically requested we put the reference to a diety in it and if not than any mention of a deity be left out. That would include not only God, but Buddha, Shiva, Allah and any other god or manifistation of God

Back in England people who came to America wanted both freedom of religion and freedom from religion. Obviously you believe in God and you do not want God removed from the government but you have to see it from the other point of view. Let us just say you were a passionate atheist and you did not believe in any God and did not want any God forced upon you would you want to say the your nation was under God in the pledge of alleigence, would you want to have your gverment talking about God and religion constantly? Just think about it.

Thanks for the link, I learned a lot. The day is coming when God will be fully restored to our governments world wide. And when it does the libs are going to have conniptions, all over the place.

Not that I actually care if they are there.... but we didn't have God references on our money and in our pledge until the Cold War.... so it's actually your side that is the change from the norm.
