The Ouija board is said to be a sin, according to God:

The truth of the matter is that God views channeling, or consulting spirits or the dead, to be a serious sin. Deuteronomy 18:11-12 says that anyone engaged in these practices is "detestable to God." According Old Testament Law, the Israelites were supposed to stone (execute) anyone who was a medium or a channeler (Leviticus 20:27).

Why does God take such a hard line on things like Ouija Boards - something that many people view as a game? In Isaiah 8:19-20, God says this: "When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? …If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light…" God points out that we need to come to Him for answers.

But how DO we contact Him for answers?

God is omnipresent...all you need to do is ask. You know...knock and the door will open.

Hun, I am wiccan and use a spirit board on a regular basis. They let you speak with ghosts and spirits that are close to where you are at the time.

There is nothing evil about using anydevination tool. That is just fear and propaganda spread by the church. I know it is in the bible but you have to realize that the bible was transzlated by roman catholic priests, men at that, who manilpulated it to say what they wanted to say. It is no more Gods word than a cat in the hat book.

I will tell you another secret. If you will center yourself and meditate before you pray and get yourself real still and ready to listen, then ask God whatever you have to ask, anfd listen you will get your answer. You just have to prepare yourself and listen.

By praying. God does answer your questions, you just have to pay more attention during your daily activities. He drops hints and miracles right before your eyes without you even realizing it.
The Ouija board is a way for Satan to influence you and by playing you could release evil entities and evil spirits into your home.

The Ouija board is NOT a game, it is deadly serious and very, very, very dangerous. Never fool around with one. Bad things come through and can do great harm or worse. God knows it, obviously, as do many people here who have used one or know someone who has.

If The Christians' God is so strong, why are they so afraid of The Ouija Board toy made by Parker Brothers?
Is it that they have created entities called demons by their faith that such things are real to them?
Is it because they are hiding the evil that dwells within them and are afraid of anything that might shed light on their darkness?
Is it because all Christians believe in the malignant spirits that they might become or draw to themselves via their own darkness?

Ouija is nothing but an amplifier of what is within those who play with this "toy." If you are not dark, but full of love for humankind and yourself, so shall the Ouija react and show to all.

This is what I never understood...if God gave us the abilities to do these things, and we're supposedly made in his image, then why are doing things like that a sin??
