I am just thinking that now we know it doesnt take intercourse to get pregnant - as a matter of fact it takes as little as seminal fluid dripping on the vagina to get pregnant. With these modern discoveries is it possible that she actually was a virgin when Yeshua was concepted?

People scoff at him all the time for him being dumb (which first of all is very cruel... we shouldn't ridicule anyone for their perceived intelligence, it is just not what we do in a polite society). More importantly, whether you agree with him or not, and whether you are from the left, right or constitutionalist point of view, I think that everyone is underestimating him. Sorry, I just don't buy that someone with an average intelligence could have accomplished all that he has in the time he has been in office. Remember, there are at least 7 times of intelligence.

First of all, I think a wild rose and a prickly rose is teh same thing. My teacher doesn't. Is it or is it not?

I have, for two years I couldn't face writing until something special happened. I just finised writing a poem, that for one person, would never have been written.

I love to write these lovely words,
They tend to paint my life.
I do not wish to end it all,
With gun or rope or knife.

When I was ten, or maybe nine,
I wrote a simple verse.
I knew that it was not much good,
But it was just my first.

On and on I wrote these words,
I'd show them to my friends.
But they all seemed to cut me down,
And never make amends.

I thought I must not be so good,
That's why they would jeer so.
And soon when I would want to write,
My mind would tell me no.

Don't write another of these things,
They'll only laugh and joke.
I'd sit and cry, and wish they all.

There are secular pagans, there are atheistic pagans, but not all pagans are secular in belief. When I Q&A with Pagans it seems they are secular, though I know their belief in a diety should trump this. So to the theist pagans, why do your beliefs almost exclusively in politics and personal edicts fall in line with secularists? This is not a harrassing question, this popped in my head when I was reading the Wiccan bothered by in God we trust on US currency. Thoughtful answers appreciated.

I do not eat anything that had a face, moved independently, or had thoughts or instincts. I am also lactose-intolerant, so my dietary choices are very limited. I would like to lose weight and be more healthy, however, but I don't know how. Can someone please help me?

America's founders accounted for natural rights as endowments of the Creator, grounding the claim that our rights are unalienable on the "self-evident" truth of the reality of God.

Hi. My boyfriend and I have dated for over 5 years, but not until recently have things got "serious," meaning with the potential for marriage. My parents finally invited my boyfriend over one night for dinner. My mother cooked, went all out. It was just him, and my parents and my sister and I. Small dinner for my parents to get to know him. It was the first time he was coming over. What did he do? He comes over with a bottle of $10 wine in one hand and some old, dead flowers in the other hand. I was so embarrased and upset. I had expectations of him bringing a large bouquet of flowers or something, and he did not. I wanted his first impression to be a good one, and when he left my parents first comment to me was, " is he cheap or stingy?" He is not, but that is the impression they got and I am so mad at him now that he is not talking to me. Someone please help me and tell me what i am supposed to do!!

Anyone else concerned that this trend is both an invasion of privacy and puts a target on your back if you or any one of your family members has serious medical bills?

You're running XYZ, Inc and employ John Doe for an annual salary of $75,000. You provide a medical benefit of $10,000 and John picks up the other $5000 of the annual premium. With 401K matching, & other benefits, he cost XYZ, Inc. $100,000 a year. John's wife, Jane Doe has a chronic illness... costing about $50,000 annually.

XYZ, Inc. knows John is costing them $150K, not $100K. Does John have a target on his back?
