the FDA allows a very small percentage of processed food to be "non-food" items.. which can include hair, feces and body parts. When stuff is processed in a factory, there is no way to 100% keep out contaimanants... all you can do is keep it at a minimal level.

10% of rat? You mean 10% of our diet is rat, or we eat 10% of the rat population? I don't think rat meat is approved by the FDA... but I'm betting it's delicious! I say we should increase to 25%

Maybe in the US with all the processed food you eat... yewww. I always see what the meat I buy looks like, I don't eat fast food or cans.
