I am EXTEREMLY opposed to gay relationships. I think the only reason gays turn to be gay is because they cannot find someone of the other sex to be with. This is my opinion and I know I will be cut down for it, but I just wanna know what your opinions are on this matter. I agree that gays are people too, but why do they have "Gay Pride" and all that kind of things. Just because I am straight doesn't mean I am going to walk up and down the street saying"Straight Pride!"

I have come to adopt political libertarianism after careful consideration of our current political quagmire. Greater and greater government interference in daily life--personal, commercial, and other spheres, and greater and greater government intervention abroad, has ended up creating more problems than it has solved.

Every time government "fixes" something, it exacts a price in the form of demanding more control over our lives, at that moment, or later. Thus, I have concluded that the solution is to pull government back, to increase our personal liberties.

But when I communicate with others who likewise claim to support personal liberty, I am met with all manner of idiocy--conspiracy freaks, people who worship gold like some sort of God, people who think that increasing liberty requires exterminating Muslims or some other minority, and far more neoconfederate scum than I thought ever existed.

Am I the only non-insane libertarian?

I think I may have broken my ring finger at the joint just below the finger nail. I jammed it playing catch with a football. It is swollen and looks funny. I have put a splint on it and it still hurts a day later. If I go to the hospital is there much they can do or should I just suck it up and not worry about it.

Take away television, internet, religion, science, government, culture, tradition, (put us all back in the rainforest and erase our minds from all these influences) and then how will we behave? We will return to innocence, be cooperative, loving and free of mental issues and live up to the title of the "most advanced" animal species that we are supposed to be?

If so, will we still each have our unique behaviours and "personalities" and expressions? Certainly even small animals exhibit their own unique ways of behaving, even very shortly after being born.

Could there be a natural "me" lying underneath all of the social "conditioning"?
