No amount of alteration of the tax code will reduce government spending. The real problem is NOT how taxes are raised but that government spends too much in the first place. Cut government spending first and the tax burden will diminish. Why rearrange deck chairs on the Titanic? The ship is still sinking.

When we give, we give to God. Where you give it though is what this question is about.
Would you give money to a church that you KNEW would not have you as a member?

I'm a stay-at-home mom of 3. I feel blessed to be able to stay home with my kids; however, I often feel a need to work outside the home, because I enjoy spending money. I said enjoyed, but most of the time it's more of a stress relief for me, like eating chocolate or sweets. We are taught at a young age, or to most it is COMMON SENSE, that staring is RUDE. But mexican men stare women down at wal-mart and everywhere they see them and some times they smile and talk in spanish at us. I know they are saying something dirty. Why do they do this?

I ask this because yesterday I went to a resturant with my friend and they place was full on them and everytime we looked around they were staring us down. Thats so rude I want to scream at them, but they would have done no good because they wouldnt understand me anyways!

Further to my last question, do you not think it is about time that we, the taxpayers, stopped allowing this Government to hand out our money willy-nilly to those on benefits? As the purpose of benefits is to help those most in need, why is it not feasible to issue food/heating/clothing vouchers that could only be spent on the essentials, instead of cash that can be spent (potentially)on fags, booze and drugs. I'm sure it would massively cut down the number of claimants.

I live in Australia and my brother read an article in the paper involving Catholic preists being paedophiles and cover ups since the early 70's.
And another case of a woman in a hospital being harassed by a preist using his finger (You can guess where).
He told her no one would believe her if she told anyone.
They are at it again When are they going to do something about this?
It is out of hand and it needs to stop.
