When my fiance and one of my best friends are around, they tend to just listen and only say something when they really feel a need to. They are looked at as laid back, mellow, smart,etc. I tend to be more conversational but find that people sort of poo-poo me sometimes and have less respect. How do I go about changing this without people thinking I am trying to "keep information" from them. to go from being a talker to being more quiet.. which I prefer anyway! I am not as outgoing as people think! Hope this makes sense!! :)

Poor christian guy, he has to follow the bible and is now being made fun of by everyone. I thought that christians get married young for sex reasons..... 28 is a bit past it.

I know that I'm a wealthy person who have a good education, lots of knowledge and don't really suffer. But I really feel bad about the people who are not wealthy, their country is poor, they have to strave because of not enough food, or even they are born blind.

I know, I have 2 eyes like most people that I can see my wonderful earth but I feel a pity for those who are blind,poor,etc. I know how it feels like being them.

So, why is life so unfair? Why we're all different ?

I'm wondering... I seem to recall that today's (10/1/07) game between the Rockies and Padres for the wildcard playoff spot is considered to be an extra regular season MLB game. So I want to know if the stats count towards regular season totals. It appears as though this could affect who wins the N.L. batting title as well. Could someone please clarify... do the stats of the one "playoff" between the Rockies and Padres count for regular season totals??

Took my 9 MONTH old kitty to the vet, she was "leaking" blood, going to her litter box every 5/10 mins or so.
She is indoors only, eats the food that OUR VET recommended.
She eats and drinks normally.

So my kitty started going to her litter box every 5 mins or so, but not actually peeing.
When she went to her bed I noticed she was "leaking" blood...

I called my vet and was told to go to emergency.

I met my vet there, and she examined the cat, made her pee and there was a lot of blood.

She says that because of her bad diet, she already has crystals, which is making her not filter things through, making her bleed.

My vet says its called a lower UTI.
...So, what's the matter here?! I've been giving her the food that MY VET RECOMMENDED when I first got my kitty.

Now I have two different medicines to give my cat every 8 hrs. and she will have to eat Hills CD prescription food.

I don't know if I should trust my vet. I will give my cat the medicine, but what about her diet?

JFK had a thin resume but at least he served in the Military.

Obama - ? crickets……

(The Democrats are falling all over themsleves for two candidates that have never managed as much as a hot dog stand)

She has been asking for two years and he alwasy says no. He never had pets when he was a kid, they smell, people who have cats have smelly clothes etc etc. They will scratch the furniture, chew things. He is just so against it.
I am a very clean person and my house just would not smell because I keep it clean all the time. I have looked after a friends dog and the house was spotless then so proved to him that it wont make a difference. Any suggestions?
