You are asking the wrong question! What evidence is there to support the McCanns are involved in their daughter’s disappearance? And if there is evidence then why they are not charged?

So far, there's only the McCanns say so. Even the police and all the people at the resort could not back up their claim that Madeleine was abducted.

No hard evidence. There's the "evidence" from Gerry who claims he "felt" someone hiding behind the door. Also Jane Tanner's story which hardly proves abduction - a man with a bundle could mean anything.

You have three options. 1) Child wandered off.
2) Child murdered and disposed of by family.
3) Or someone took her.
It can only be one of those three options.
1) No body has turned up in a place where you expect to find a child who has wandered off.
2) Parents deny any possibility. There is no conclusive evidence to prove that they did .No motive for killing the child, other than a crumpled page in the bible. Fridge too small to hold a body. Surely. For three weeks
3.) Leaves third option. Unfortunately vital clues might have been lost in frantic search for Madeleine after she disappeared.
OK?
Now who took her? Paedophiles? Resentful maids? Ex-pats? Aliens? Who knows. That's what we want to find out.

Erm, well no body has been found yet has there, also the lack of solid evidence to suggest otherwise!
What 'evidence' is there to say the McCanns did have something to do with it then, I mean REAL evidence not police set ups or leaks, lies and rumours that have all proved NOTHING so far!? They are clutching at straws just like yourself!

There is none, and (because maybe the PJ are keeping their own secrecy laws) there has been no confirmed evidence that the McCanns are involved. That doesn't mean that there isn't any evidence that they were involved, it just may have not been disclosed yet.

Whatever evidence there is to implicate the McCanns in the disappearance is being held from us but it was enough for their lawyer in Portugal to advise them that the PJ-GNR has enough to charge them !!!
And... what happened to the action the McCanns were going to bring against that 'Tal&Qual' Portuguese newspaper ? Have they withdrawn the instruction to sue ? What happened to that then ?!
And what happened to the statement make by Kate McCann as late as the 10th of August "WE SHALL NOT BE BULLIED OUT OF PORTUGAL BY THE PORTUGUESE POLICE!"?
--- a day later they were made official suspects... 24 hours later they took off from Portugal. !!

there is NO evidence to back up the abduction claims,
there is SOME evidence to suggest the parents were involved in Madeleine's disappearance.
