Well we the world love us we got 9/11 so what is the big deal about being love by the world.
We still give out more private and public aid than any other country.
Now that France has elected a president who is now siding with Bush tells me that world maybe just maybe waking up to the fact there really are Muslims out there who are bent on killing us.

Ah yes, polls with loaded questions designed to trigger a particular response. In this case, they are desigend to extract anti-American sentiment.
Most in fact do not hate us. Only simple minded people like you who have nothing better to do all day than talk about Americans.....sounds like you have an obsession.
Anyway, your an ineffectual nothing and your ridiculous statements will never put your feeble country on par - or even in the same ballpark - as America. Thanx for coming out.

First who gives a rats tail about polls or bbc!! Second the world never really has liked the 'Yanks' except for the handouts we so freely give them and forgiveness of debts which they seem to forget about. Third if you aren't from the US then you shouldn't be trashing our president and if you are you should be supporting him!

That's a good point. Next time some crazy lib asks what Bush has accomplished I am now locked and loaded. Although this is one of those Monday mornings that makes me wish I was just plain loaded.
I just read some of your answers and all I can say is jesus christ. This is why we have no allies in the Middle East! What the heck makes you think we are so superior that we can get through the war on terror by ourselves? Our foreign relations are in shambles and we are embarking on a mission that is bigger than just our country. Some of you make me absolutely sick to be called American. Since when did common sense and reason take flight? There is so much ignorance in this one thread it's ridiculous.

Na it's not a new thing we buy our friends with aid, and no one really likes anyone except for what they can get from them.
It's a sad world we live in.

Its not the American people that are to be 'hated'. It is the American administration. The American people had NO control of the foreign policy of invading Iraq and the belligerent tone of the 'War on Terror'. It IS George Bush who we should 'hate' as this man and his minions have started a fight they cannot win, and they have dragged many countries along for the ride.
'Hate' should be directed at the administration, NOT at the people.

Are you sissy Brits still pissed you lost to us back in the Revolution? Get over it, we don't care if "the world hates us". If it were that bad we'd be attacked by more than a cave dweller and the Dirkadirkastan.

Who cares? The last time we had a President (Carter) that governed based upon international consensus, the country was a mess.
