And you actually think the human animal, who kills for sport, who would kill you in a heartbeat for the $2 in your pocket, who would rape a 3 year old child, etc., etc., is superior to the animals who play with their feces?

P.S. Human babies would play with their feces if given the chance.

It's nice to see all of the "Creationist", answering this question for themselves. No, as a matter of fact, why would I be embarrassed by someone else's attempt and failure at describing the origin of the Human Race. Darwin's Theory of Evolution is simply that a theory. And Evolutionist call us sheep. Anyway, I don't know anyone that can claim to be proud of the fact that they think we descended from Ape's. Anyway.....

Monkeys.? No, that doesn't embarrass me. It's the idea of being related to a turnip. I told a finance company once that you couldn't get blood out of a turnip. He replied that he didn't know I was a turnip. I didn't either. They very idea is repulsive and what excuse am I going to give next time?

Who actually started this whole stereotype about monkeys throwing crap anyway?

As far as I'm concerned... the traditional stereotype of monkeys being foolish and unreliable reflects quite aptly upon humanity.
What primate out there doesn't consider its own species the rulers of the known world?

I'm not a creatorist and I don't think that we are direct descendants of apes and monkeys, just that we share common ancestry as we do with other animals, even plants, funghi, and mosses. Gosh, I don't believe I just said that.

C'mon baby, you don't have to be so nasty; the question smells bad from beggining to end.
And what's wrong with monkeys? You don't think that we are superior to them, do you?
Just look at the state of the world affairs now. Monkeys wouldn't make such a mess.

Actually it seems that science has or is pulling away from that concept and now embrace common, unknown or undiscovered ancestor, reducing chimps and apes from grandfathers to cousins.

It could just as easily be their lack of understanding of the terms and concepts, "shares a common ancestor with" and "evolution as dictated by the science of natural selection", that makes one a creationist.

It's a helluva lot easier to say "god did it"...than it is to say..."so and so shares a common ancestor with so and so", and "so and so is a product of evolution as dictated by the science of natural selection."

I wouldn't say it's "embarassment" they feel....it's more that having a common ancestor with apes makes humans "just another animal"; and they don't want to give up their coveted position of being the bestest and most favoritest of all their Invisible Sky Daddy's creations...
