im 18 and i just recently got married in july to . i had been with him for two years and we have a daughter... he has gotton more jealous , more violent and lies so much i am 18 and i am already gettin a divorce... who else has been in my situation....i dont think i'll ever get married again.

I was married at 19 divorced at 22 (after being seperated for a year) and then remarried at 24 and plan on staying married this time.

First you are 18. Why did u marry so young? The statistics for divorce are higher when u marry young. I am 30, I was married to someone who changed during the marrieage. It took me a year to get divorce because where I live is a marital state. But if you are married less then year, you can get an annulment. Check with a lawyer. I think you will marry again. But find someone that you are with for a couple of years. take your time. I have thought that I will never find mr right and marry again. But why worry about marriage, just date and have fun. Someday mr right will show up...

I got married young the first time sounds about like the same situation i was in only I tried to make it work and spent the next ten years in the same situation, Generaly people dont change, you wont change him and i got divorced @ 27.but I am married to the most wonderful man now

I got married young, too, and it also ended in divorce. He became quite violent after I got pregnant with our daughter- he was upset I was gaining weight.
At first, I didn't want the divorce because I didn't want to be a divorced teenager, but then my uncle said "It's better to be a divorced teenager than a miserably married 20-something."
It'll be okay. Just trust in that.

I am not married, but a friend married at 18, divorced at 21. Its not uncommon

I was 36 when I got my first and only divorce. Don't settle for a man who is abusive. Don't worry about getting married again. Focus on yourself and your daughter for a while. You're still very young.

We had been together for 10 years...3 years living together and 7 years married.
I'm now 37 (almost 38). I'm in a committed relationship that in all likelihood will lead to marriage.
