it's a small room, maybe 12 x 12, with a French door (to a little sunroom), the stairs to the second floor, and 2 entrances. Ten feet may seem like no big deal, but they're a challenge. How can I decorate the top 2/3 of this room? It's bright yellow with a crystal chandelier......at the entranceway, there are 2 round columns also 10 feet high, any suggestions to warm things up? I have hardwood floors...thanks!

I know that cats can gain weight after spaying, and she has. Her nipples look bigger and she is producing milk. I know she was spayed on July 3, this year. I was there. (I worked in the vet's office and was in on the surgery.) But now, I'm wondering if the vet might have made a mistake, or what?

What is going on with her? Is this pseudopregnancy, and if so, how long is this going to continue?

This week a daycare was temporarily shut down because one of the workers was taping a 2 month olds pacifer to his mouth to make him stop crying. Here is a clip of the news article about it.

A spokeswoman for the Department of Human Services says a 4-month-old boy was found in a darkened room in a Jefferson City nursery with a pacifier taping his mouth shut.

Department spokeswoman Michelle Mowery Johnson says the department responded Tuesday to an anonymous complaint that a caregiver in Jefferson City was taping babies’ mouths shut.

An investigator heard muffled whining from the bathroom. The boy’s mouth was taped with two-inch clear packing tape.

The nursery was closed today. It will be served with a suspension order from DHS and a hearing is set for Thursday before an administrative judge.

i am a committee member for my local community based charity and it is staring death in the face.

we are facing financial ruin and i want to fight it. no matter the outcome, it's worth it.

the charity owns a large community centre, where groups can hire halls etc. we've experienced a few rough years followed by a dreadfull summer and we're screwed. we can't pay our service contractors (including the cleaner), the insurance is due and our rent income is being eaten by our overdraft.

i/we desperately need someone to talk to and chew over our options, but who and where to go? it isn't the job of the charity commission, the nvco cannot help directly. and i dont know who else to try.

we desperately need free but experienced advice.

can any one point us in the right direction?

Does everyone else think they just need time or do they need experience? Are they even going to hit a hundreds rushing in a game this year? Share your opinion. Would you support a measure/petition(whatever you want to call it) to Congress to require the US Government to include the words "Pro-Choice" on our currency?

After all...they were more than willing to include the words "In God We Trust"...so...why not include a slogan for those who support women's rights???

If this were to happen...not only would our currency make the claim that every citizen believes in a religiously oriented "higher power", but it'd also make the claim that every citizen in the nation is Pro-Choice.

That's not such a bad idea, is it???

Ok basically i am going to go to a community college ...and i am not sure if i am suppose to be taking Liberal Arts or not! Me and my husband are having a baby boy and we are disagreeing on circumcision. My husband is not circumcised so he believes that the baby shouldn't be. Me on the other hand believes that we should circumcise the baby. Should we do it or not. Also are the percentage of circumcised men greater then uncircumcised.
