I work for a non profit in Florida and we have about 6 months of funding availble for payroll. The organization is trying to apply for additional funds but we are not certain if they will come through. I am currently looking for a new job but there are few to chose from where I live especially paying a desent salary. At the end of the 6 months can I apply for unemployment if we are laid off? Thank you!!

I am very concerned about the packaging of frozen dinners, and the fact that we cook them in the plastic trays with plastic
covering the food. They cook at very high temperatures. How
do we know what happens to the plastic at that temperature.
Does it affect the food? Does it affect our bodies? Please just sensible answers. I don't want to find out that it causes cancer, because I live on them when I am working a lot.

I wanted to trade my car in as soon as its paid off, but now it looks brand new to me! My last car payment is next week, 3 years early! I think maybe I should wait a year now that its paid off before getting a new one....oh btw its a 2003 Olds Alero w/ 71,000 miles on it

we have a ton of raccoons that wont go away an when i say ton im meaning there will be between 7 to 10 in our yard at a time how do i kill these mean pests without using a gun. they have tried to attack me an im 5 months pregnant i dont know what else to do. pest control wont help without charging us 90 dollars a raccoon an i dont want a gun around weve even went as far as too use a pellet gun but i dont want a bigger guna around any help??? please im afraid they will bite me.

The car has only 12k mile and the carfax show no damage of any kind ,but the only thing is that it's from a rental companey....
It can be good because they maintain the car on time,but who knows how many people drive it..... what do you think?

I recently bought 'Bush DFTA1001 Digital Scart Adaptor' which has freeview on it.Before i got this I had a scart lead connected to the back of the tv,and the other end connected to the back of the dvd player,and could record analogue tv of the dvd recorder.Now,because i only have 1 scart socket at back of my tv,I had to buy a multi scart 'Commtel 4 Way SCART Selector'.So now I connected the 'Commtel 4 Way SCART Selector' to the back of my tv,and put the scart which i disconnected from the tv into the 'Commtel 4 Way SCART Selector',and also put the 'Bush DFTA1001 Digital Scart Adaptor' into the 'Commtel 4 Way SCART Selector',but the problem is that for me to watch analogue tv i have to keep switching the tv aerial to and from the 'Bush DFTA1001 Digital Scart Adaptor'and the back of my dvd recorder.The aerial at the back of the recorder lets me watch and record analogue tv, but once i connect the aerial to the 'Bush DFTA1001 Digital Scart Adaptor'i can only watch freeview,not record it,?
