You can make any statement into a sound argument if you state it correctly, even if it implies an untruthful premise.

Libkillah, it is very difficult, if not impossible to win a debate against a sound argument, even if it does not imply an honest premise.

A good communicator has a mastry of the language in which he argues, debates or makes statements in. He must have a grasp of the situation or he would never even get to first base! Get Real! This isn't the Presidency, the public acctually count when it comes to keeping speakers around. Of course he's on the ball and roughs up the feathers of the turkeys!

I am not a Rush groupie...He is good, but not my favorite Conservative......but it would be very hard to "fake" being an intelligent articulate communicator.

Possessing an extensive vocabulary is something else nearly impossible to fake. Knowing "big" words and knowing how to use them effectually in a sentence or conversation, are two very different things.

Don't confuse being smart with....common sense or even common decency....they can be, and often are,...mutually exclusive.

Rush has a gift for talking, verbal debating skills, and radio entertainment. He is not stupid, but he is not well informed on most issues and he is not a critical and reasoned thinker. He was actually much better 15 years ago before he took himself so seriously. Now, he is just a self parody.

One could hardly exist without the other. An idiot would find it very difficult being a good communicator and sounding smart.

the simple fact is that Rush is a good communicator. The lib's are scared of him b/c he talks the truth.

Rush came on live to an SF radio station he was on and made the mistake of getting into a sparring match with a lib. Rush got his teeth kicked in and I felt sorry for him. He is just an actor and can't work w/o a script. Yet the dittoheads still think he is real. He's just another chicken hawk with a script.

I don't really listen to him,but he has the right to free speech, just like Keith Olbermann and his Bush bashing.

I'll answer your question with a couple of questions:

Name a Golfer.... Did ya pick Tiger Woods?

Name an NBA star... Did ya pick Michael Jordan?

Maybe ya picked em... maybe not. But I bet you've heard their names before. Ya know why? They are the best at what they do.

For this same reason, you and I are "Typing" about Rush Limbaugh.

We don't know about him because he's NOT intelligent or wrong about so much. We know his name because he's the cutting edge of exposing liberal lies and failures, and almost always correct, (and yes, quite intelligent). ...and Ohhhh how the Liberals hate him for it.

Warm regards,
Douglas

expose neocons is a liar. Rush hands Liberals their lunch every day. Liberals never win in debate against anyone. Their views are flawed even when they are informed they still lose.
