I have to say thank you at first.

The expats and foreign people in this section know about Japanese culture so much.
Not only J-pops, games, and animes, but also traditional and local cultures.
Such as, Acchi-muite-hoi, eating Okonomiyaki, on-line shopping malls, QR bar code, the various features of cell phones, information regarding Japanese TV personarities and TV programs, Enka songs, Ebihara Yuri, sub cultures, and various fashions in Japan, etc, etc.

I know some westerners are interested in East Asian traditional cultures and history always.
But the people in this section know Japanese local culture so much, more than traditional one, more than other Asian local cultures.
Why? What make you to do so?

Japan is just one of the Asian countries, isn't it? right?

I am not an atheist....but don't go to church...I pray sometimes, but religion has never been a big factor in my families life....I am sending my daughter to a Christian school where they pray before snack time and hear Bible stories....I dont want to freak her out with too much talk of God....she's never heard of Him yet....what do you think? Its important to me that she learn the morals and lifestyle that goes with being Christian...

Forget all the conspiracy theories, and everything written in the gutter press, and put yourselves in the McCanns' shoes. If you were 100% completely and utterly innocent how would you feel about some of the very negative things that have been written and said about you? I will join the navy. My wife wants to live in NY (to take care of her aunt that has cancer). If they send me to a base (exp. Tx or FL) and i live in the barracks, without her, do I have to pay something for living in the base? Because the money of the BAH will be used for her living expenses in NY. I'm a bit confused...plz help me.

A few weeks ago, I found two 3 week old kittens by my home. I took them in and they have thrived so far. They have been wormed and fleas were removed. I took them to the vet yesterday for the 2nd time and the vet told me that they can't test for these diseases until at least 14 weeks old.

My question is...people usually adopt kittens at 7-8 weeks old and they kittens often come with paperwork that say the kitty is FeLV negative. How is that possible if it's too early to get any accurate result? I have 6 other cats in my home, all tested FeLV negative as youngsters...now I am told that none of those results even count.

Do I keep the kittens isolated until 14 weeks old....I wanted them to get aquainted with my other cats prior to that. They will be getting all other vaccines in 2 weeks.

Any advise from cat rescuers would be great!

Then she completely ignores you for a few weeks, then starts staring at you again. Then she starts talking to your best friend when she knows it's your friend and being all nice, even though her best friend hates your best friend.

I had surgery due to an accident a couple of years ago. My bill is over 100,000.00. I have no insurance. I applied for financial aid, but the hospital won't approve aid until I get everyone that I live with income level. They tell me that any roommates income counts as part of my income. My roommates don't want to disclose their finances to the hospital so the hospital has put my bill in collections. I have been making payment each month. But I only have social security disabilty which doesn't go that far. I have worked out other plans with other medical services. But the hospital says they won't do anything to help me out until I get them the infor they requested.
