I want to translate the following into french....

" When you feel embarrassed then I will be your pride when you need directions then I will be the guide for all time. For all time. "

Is this correct....
"Quand vous vous sentez embarrassé alors je serai votre fierté quand vous avez besoin directions alors je serai
le guide pour toute temps. Pour toute temps." ?

Thanks :D

I was just wondering how many people have read the story about the boy banned from school because of his nut allergy being a heath and safety risk.

Now I understand that it would be discriminative and I did infact answer the users question asking if the health and safety system has gone mad.

Now reading the story I understand why they have done it.

Its not the nut allergy at all but the fact that no - one knows how to use his epi pen. This in its self is bad that there is not one teacher that knows how to work one of these as lots of people have them I have one, but the fact of the matter is no one does know how to use one so the have asked the mother to take him out of school for HIS safety. If he had had a fit or reaction in school no one would have known how to help him and people would have been slating the school just as they are now.

I just hope the school sort out there first aid so the boy can go back to school ASAP.

Please forgive my rubbish grammer !

I have a 1990 Sprint Pro Bass 266 with a 1990 115 HP Mercury outboard. I recently replaced a broken trim motor, but one day after I installed the new one, it failed. When I took it off, I discovered that trim fluid had gotten into the electric motor, causing it to fail. I sent it back to the vendor (who is sending me a replacement). However, they told me that the fluid got into the motor because I overfilled the system. I told them the the Merc Service manual says that you should fill the system until fluid is visible at the threads of the fill reservoir. So, you CAN'T overfill it. Any excess would just run over the top. They told me that you have to fill the system with the motor trimmed DOWN.

Now that is completely contrary to what I see in the Mercury manual. In fact, there is a big warning sticker on the boat that says you shouldn't open the fill plug with the unit trimmed down.

Does that sound right to anyone?

Hey, just wondering if any other women out there experienced nosebleeds a LOT during their early pregnancy. Personally, I'm thinking I might be pregnant and 3 days ago (exactly 7 days before I'm supposed to start my period) I started getting nosebleeds like crazy day and night. I mean, I'm just wondering if some women have ever had these maybe a week before missing their period and finding out they were in fact pregnant? I've heard this is actually a common pregnancy symptom and it baffles me. So anyone with this experience, please share. Thanks!

He shows all the signs. Empty stare, rambling answers, quivering head while talking, etc...
My fear is that Hillary is playing him. She pads the crowd with her supporters pretending to be his. She hopes to trick this old fool into believing he actauly has a chance so he runs as an independent and spilts the Republican party. It's the "Ross Perot" play right out of Bill's hand book.

In her book "It Takes a Village," Hillary Clinton wrote that the "lowest paid German worker" makes more than the "lowest paid American worker."

Right.

But only if the definition of a "worker" is someone who actually has a job.

They have a higher price floor on labor in Germany - a higher mandatory minimum that you must pay a "worker" - - meaning anyone whose labor is worth below that amount doesn't get a job, thus isn't a "worker."

That is why they have twice our rate of unemployment in Germany - CONSISTENTLY twice our rate of unemployment - even though we import poor and unskilled immigrants into our workforce every year at a much faster pace than Germany does.

Their "lowest paid worker" makes more but only because they take another 5% of low-paid workers and freeze them out of a job, thus they're not workers - all the people making $0 simply don't count! If they did, it wouldn't be a true statement!

What sort of Father will sacrifice and/or forsake his son?

Law: I will forget you and I will forsake you: Jeremiah 23:39
Grace: I will never leave you nor forsake you: Hebrews 13:5

David: My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Jesus: My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Forsaken? Isn't this how PTSD-ers now feel?

Will of God? "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice".
Perhaps it meaneth I will have grace, and not law.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Since I was a small boy I was dead set on a life of adventure. In those days the world was still a vast place, with large parts still undiscovered, and world travel was a lot more prestigious than it is today (but easier in some aspects). The ghost of colonialism and easily accessible science meant that you could appear almost anywhere on the globe and strike out on a new expedition almost on a whim.

Explorers advertised for help, agencies recruited for expeditions, and there was still the mystery and romance of not knowing where you might be in a week's time.

With advancing science, improved communications and electronic networking, are these days long dead?
