Okay this is what I am assuming

1 router with No wireless capabilites

1 router with Wireless capabilites.
(This is the setup I have at home)

You need:
Your wired router (which is connected to the internet from the wan port) to have a wire going from the Wired router (port 1,2,3, or 4) to be connected to the wireless router in order to expand the network and have wireless capabilites.

With the wireless router only plugged into you PC.
Log into the router, turn OFF DCHP.
Give your wireless network a name and
Enable Wireless encryption.

Now all you need is a cable going from the wired router to the wireless router.
The cable on wired router must be connected to port 1,2,3 or 4 DO NOT connect to the WAN port.

The Cable on the Wireless router needs to be also connected to port 1,2,3, or 4. Again, DO NOT connect the cable to the WAN port.

Thus you have duplicated my network setup of a Linksys router, and a D-Link w/ wireless that I have at home

This is the simple solution, it is possible to use the WAN port on the wireless router, but this would require a different cable type and different configuration. The setup above is more simple, hence it is why I use it. :)

Mike must have read some of my answers to questions like this before :P.

Everything he has stated is exactly correct.

Why not make it even easier and remove the wired router and just connect the wireless router in its place?
