Go to Home Depot's ( or any other improvement store ), painting section. Find where the have the painting roller section. Look for the paint rollers that will take extensions that are screwed in the base. These are used to extend the roller to paint ceilings. You can buy several extensions to make the pole any length you need, The crook is the tricky part of this problem. I know you will have to remove the roller section of the paint roller. How you make the crook, you are on your own. I gave you an idea how to make a take-apart pole, but I can't think of how to make the crook.

How about a telescopic pointer. The ones that don't project a red laser light are not expensive from a stationery shop. Use a coat hanger to form the crook pad with cotton wool or rags and wrap with ribbon. Tie a big bow round the pointer with the same ribbon.

buy a blind cane they flip up together into three segement all you have to do is attach the crrok to the top part
