Would you support a measure/petition(whatever you want to call it) to Congress to require the US Government to include the words "Pro-Choice" on our currency?

After all...they were more than willing to include the words "In God We Trust"...so...why not include a slogan for those who support women's rights???

If this were to happen...not only would our currency make the claim that every citizen believes in a religiously oriented "higher power", but it'd also make the claim that every citizen in the nation is Pro-Choice.

That's not such a bad idea, is it???

Careful. You'll confuse the fools with reason.

I see what you're getting at....but yeah it is a bad idea. Sorry if you're not religious and the whole God thing offends you...but tell it to the founding fathers. Our country was founded by religious men, I think we should honor that...whether or not you are religious yourself (I am actually not, and I am not the least bit bothered by it). They would have had nothing to do with abortion, so please don't use that as an example.

Off point...Why are we drawing a parallel between abortion and women's rights? First off, it is not a right. Second, I would think that voting, freedom of speech and other actual rights are much more important to women than forcing states to allow abortion so that women can make a "choice" about aborting a baby...? Ugh.

This is a really bad idea. The slogan is misleading at best and a euphemism for murder at worst.
It is simply far too controversial a subject to be promoting one view or another on our currency.
It would be every bit as justified if someone were to suggest we put "ProLife" on our currency.

There are some people who are just not worth arguing with.

It's disappointing though that your mother wasn't such a fan of abortion.

Have some more Democratic Kool Aid.

I get your idea, but soon it would say things like , "Coke", "Starbucks". Let get rid of the things not all of us believe before adding every last bit of secularization.

Pro-choice, but what choice is it? Is it the choice to murder, steal, rob, commit crimes?
