Just rewash the clothes, never mix your clothes in with the towels. The dryer will bring a lot of the lint off to.

Most of the answers you have here are good ones. A lot depends on the material of the clothes. Also depends on the brand of towels. You will never get it all off. I have been known, in the past, to become very angry & throw something away when I have screwed up.
Look at it as a learning experience. You will never do it again. By the way, I have purchased every brand towel & price range in the world. Wal Mart has the best towels in the world. They are not expensive, they wash nice & last forever.

Now would be a good time to wash a few items because you never know how the next few weeks will go! However, I would only wash a FEW items because you don't know how big your baby will be or how fast he/she will grow, and you may have some outfits that never get worn -- if they still have the tags on and are unwashed, you can take them back or give them as gifts. You'll only need a couple blankets, washcloths and towels for the first few weeks, and can wash the rest later when you and baby are home.

Also dry them separately, You can get towel lint on your clothes in the dryer too. The dryer will not remove all the lint & may cause some to stick to them. Always does this when I dry my work uniform & find out I had a towel or two in the dryer.

I did the same thing - unfortunately! I tried re-washing them, and it helped, but it did not get rid of all the lint. So, I went out and bought one of those lint-remover brushes at the supermarket - you know - it is either a roll of sticky paper that you roll over the garment and it picks-off the lint. I got one that has a red, felt-like surface that you brush in one direction to pick-up the lint. It worked well - and was better than hand-picking off each little piece. Good luck!

I suggest rewashing the items with the towels being washed separate. This is never a good idea. Always wash towels and wash cloths separately.

towels only leave those fluffies on after the first wash...but don't wash towels with anything like fleece or flannel (they attract those fluffies). You can toss your clothes in the dryer on "air dry" setting (it's not heat, it just tosses your clothes around again). As a rule of thumb, just wash towels together and separate from clothes.

You have lots of lint! You can get a lint roller or lint brush but the fastest and easiest way is to get a clothes shaver--the kind with batteries is about $5 at wal-mart and the larger one that plugs into the wall is less than $20.

Hiya Dave...Guess you won't do that again too soon! Yes, just wash the clothes again and they will be rid of the lint you picked up from the towels. Fabric softener will help too!

Did you dry them? If not, separate towels and dry with a fabric softener towel (like bounce). Most of the lint should come off in the dryer. You may have to put them through the rinse cycle again separate from the towels and dry again. Don't you miss your mommy!
