Can an Ion exchange resin remove the Ca and Mg ions from water? Therefore solving the problem of HArd water?

If not, what other processes are implemented to fix hard water problems?

My husband and I have had a rough patch and went almost a month with little to no work which put us in the hole by $2,000. Now, he has a good paying job but it pays enough to take care of our present bills not the outstanding debts ie: payday loans. What are some money savy ways to get out of debt? Will payday loan places work with you?

Hello everyone! I'm trying to become a full time vegetarian. I don't really eat meat except for Chicken and that is only on occasion. Anyway, I want to cut Chcken out completly but I live in a really small town where being a vegetarian is almost unheard of. When I go out to eat it is really hard to find non-meat items on the menu.... except for the occasional garden salad. Also, there arn't any other vegetarians in my area to talk to. I was just wondering what other people from small towns do to make their vegetarian experience easier? when you go out to eat do you have trouble finding a whole meal to order? Also, what do you say to people who laugh at you when you say you are a vegetarian? Also, do you know of any good chicken substitues?

...they feel it gives our lives no meaning? I just read an answer to another question where someone said they choose to believe in creationism because believing in evolution means that there's no real point to our lives. To me, this seems rather self-serving. So basically you'd rather believe in something with absolutly no evidence or logical thought because then you feel there is a point to your life? Just because you believe in evolution doesn't mean that our lives are pointless.

I've been able to see my aura at times but ther has never been collor it's always been like i don't know like you could tell it was there but it wasn't orange or yellow or anything it was just clear. i talked to one of my freidns who was a witch and she said i had no color either and she didn't know what it ment. my personlitly is always changing form agressive to peacefull form happy to sad. I'm curius. can someone tell me what it means? Byt the way i kno what and aura looks like since i've bene able to look at my freinds and teachers every once in a while.

My husband is the main source of money in our home. He pays all the bills and I take care of the home and our girls. He now wants to move his brother into our home to sleep on the couch. His brother isn't a very upstanding person and he has plenty of issues and I would rather not have him live with us. My husband knows this but is going with it anyway. How do I tell him no way I can't allow this to happen without causing a fight? Is there anyway when it's family involved?

I'm trying to potty train our son, who is 2 1/2. I've tried different forms of rewards for going potty but nothing really caught his fancy. That is until we were at a festival and he got a temporary tattoo.
Today he told me he wanted to use the potty, so I took him in. He got bored after 30 seconds and wanted off. I told him if he stayed on and went poop I'd give him some stickers. He didn't care, so I told him I'd get him some temporary tattoos tomorrow if he went poop. That did the trick, and a few minutes later I was praising my boy for going potty.
I talked to my husband via email,he just hasn't responded back yet. What do you think?

I was apprently baptised C o E but never went to church when i was young. Iam 39 now with a catholic husband and 2 catholic children. I have been attending a catholic church for over 15 years now with my partner.My 9 yrd daughter told me because iam anglican i dont believe in God, only catholics do.
This statement was a reminder to me of my weak faith. I have committed various moral sins against god over the years. Iam afraid of the after life and what judgement will be handed down to me at the gates of heaven.There are other reasons for me to find grace with god, my question is iam very happy to become a full catholic via the right channels but will god forgive my sinful soul. I want to have a catholic funeral,buried next to my husband and know in my heart i love god before its too late. What do people think.

All I can say is God have mercy on us, because there are no good candidates from either party. The only consistantly decent person seems to be Ron Paul, but I don't know if he has a chance because he's not in any corporate pockets and has no funds.
Both party's are looking bad. These candidates get scarier by the day. We need a miracle.
