Why do so many Christians walk around believing a lie? The lie being that Holy Pascha (Easter) is based on some utterly UNSUBSTANTIABLE "pagan spring festival", when all the reliable evidence shows that Holy Pascha (called "Easter" in English) is a direct offshoot of the Passover. Indeed, in Greek, "Pascha" is the word for both "Easter" and "Passover". How did so many Christians become so blindingly ignorant and willing to swallow such hideous lies about their own faith. I understand non-Christians spreading such pernicious propaganda, but why did Christians abandon the very easily available knowledge that Holy Pascha is from the feast of the Passover? Where did this ignorance come from, and why is it so especially widespread among those very Christians who claim the loudest to be practicing a "true" or "pure" form of Christianity?

My boyfriend wanted to ride his motor bike & i said no i dont want you too cause i feel thats all your wrorried about i feel you dont show me love or attention at all, Thats what i said to him!
& then after i told him that he just got all abusiv & said ***** everything in a loud deep voice & then started throwing things around & yelling & all that stuff saying mean things to me & all that he done all that after i told him why i dont want him riding his motor bike & then he just told me to get the ***** out & then threw my keys at my knee & then i drove off & then about an hour later i came back but parked my car down the road & then walked into our front yard & then looked through the kitchen form out side through the blinds & i seen him on a girls chat site only? After i had tried to tell him how i felt lately? Do you think thats just ******* off him? He even says to me them sites dont interest him oh but they interest him when im not around! We are both 20 i bin with him for 3 yrz

I AM AN OLDEST SISTER TO FOUR YOUNGER SIBLINGS. My sister Ashley has 3 children now. Two she gave to their dad due to her being homeless and not having anyway to support them(that in itself causes me great pain to think she didn't try everything first to keep them) Then she had another child that she is allowing drugs to be used around. (MARAJUANA). I told her not to ever let me find out about it again.

WELL TO MAKE THE STORY SHORT AND SWEET, I HAVE HAD IT. For 4+ years I have done everything I could to help her. I have offered her a home when she was homeless and even before that when she was in a Domesticly Violent relationship with her husband. BUT MY HOME WAS NOT "NICE ENOUGH" My home does need lots of work but it should not have been her reason for not taking free help when she could have really used it. I have babysat for her and never gotten even a thank you. I have paid her rent before and many other things!
I AM JUST WONDERING IS THERE ANYTHNG I CAN OR SHOULD DO?

I asked this young man who he likes for president. This will be his first presidential election (he's 20). He said he will vote for Hillary Clinton. I asked him why.

I am upgrading my graphics card and was after some recommendations for an upgrade.
Current system:

AMD ATHLON 64 X2 6000+
2GB DDR2 Ram
ASUS M2N-E SLI
ATI X1300 PCI-E
Windows Vista business 64bit

I have upto £70 to spend and was looking for a card for gaming (Mainly World of Warcraft) and would like to be able to add a second SLI card in the future.
Was thinking of a Geforce 8500gt but have read some bad reviews.
Would be grateful for links to any reviews of suggested cards.

i recently bought something at bugis, the guy was good at sales talking a client,,,we were so trusting that the price he gave us is the lowest and the features of the items we bought are good only to find out later that the price he gave us much too high...and the technical specification of the item he told us was bogus....where can i report this?is there a way i can atleast have justice in this matter?

As an Englishman owns many major USA based companies i feel i must ask this.
The Americans who i own are sick & fed up of people bad mouthing them on sites like this.As the man they look up to and obey i feel it is my duty to stand up for them.We all know the stereotypical American is fat,stupid, cowarldly and a poor shot, but i can assure you the Americans i own are not like this at all.They are hard working and i would recommend one to any business.

Hi there, I have long been interested in starting up my own security company after completing military service. This would work on a contractual basis (for instance, a research and development establishment would offer a contract to guard and protect it's property and assets).

I would aim to recruit primarily ex-military personnel, but would of course consider applications from ex-armed police officers etc etc. My question is, are any such private security personnel, working in the UK itself, allowed to be armed, given our civilina gun laws?

Why do KJV only advocates reject the apocrypha, since the original 1611 version contained the apocrypha?

If God always gives the world his word in one language (as KJV advocates say of English), then the KJV is certainly not that language, for God chose Koine GREEK not ENGLISH to reveal his New Covenant!
If God gave us the KJV as an inspired translation, why would God not repeat the process again in modern language in each language?

If God supervised the translation process so that the KJV is 100% error free, why did God not extend this supervision to the printers?

Please don't watch this if you are an animal lover. Basically, a guy goes out to his dogs pen in the morning with his video camera?! and finds a skunk in with the dog.
The dog is trying to get away from the skunk and instead of picking his dog up and taking it inside, he lets the dog and skunk out of the kennel and then starts kicking the skunk as hard as he can. Some people are really sick. It makes me so mad!
