That all the good men are already in relationships. Kinda like when you go shopping and there are no spots right close to the store so you have to settle for a spot farther away which isnt as good as the closer ones.

The quote is "guys are like parking lots all the good ones are taken, and the ones available are disabled" and is a joke analogy comparing parking lots to guys.
It means the good ones are already in relationships and the available ones have lots of baggage.

I think maybe the correct saying is " guys are like parking SPACES, all the good ones are taken."
You know, how when it's pouring rain or freezing cold, the only parking space left is the one farthest from the entrance!
Same with guys, the best ones get snatched up really fast!

It's a phenomenon that the best men are unavailable due to being in prior relationships, usually observed by people whose friends should point out to them that "The grass always seems greener on the other side of the fence."
Guys (and girls) are really more like buses. There'll be another one along in a few minutes.

The saying basically means that all the decent, kind, sensitive and understanding guys are taken.
Which, in my experience, isn't true. A lot of females tend to go with males that have attitued or isn't generally nice. And the nice guys get left behind. Heh.
This is usually in the Teen or early Adult stages though.

yeah but you forget there a heaps of different places to park. As the above know too well......and a lot of them are still paying off the parking ticket.... Just because they are parked, doesnt mean they dont want to go for a QUICK SPIN round the block.
