i just had a conversation with a friend who told me that lately, when she goes on a date, the guy expects her to pay for herself. i think this is BEYOND rude. not because the guy should always pay, because he shouldn't, but because whoever does the asking should be expected to pick up the tab, right? i mean, you ask a girl to a restaurant, you pick a place within your means and be prepared to pay the bill entirely..and if the girl asks you out, she should pay..but isn't it wrong to ask a person on a date and then when the check comes, ask them for half the money? in my opinion, that is just classess. i know people are gonna say things like i must be a gold digger or something but please read carefully...if you ask me out, you pay. if i ask you out, i pay. right? but you never suprise someone like that. i've been on dates where all i had was my phone and an emergency $20. i wouldn't even have half the money in that situation...but on the other hand, i've done the asking & paying, too.

So as a few here know my future in-laws are a bit out there. Well, it got better. My FFIL has been having issues with a billing discrepancy at the hospital. So Saturday, he smashed the phone. Sunday, he was driving, and ripped a bunch of political signs out of someone's yard. Went home, popped a bunch of Xanax, FMIL takes him to the hospital, on the way there, they stop at that same stoplight. He jumps out of the car, rips the signs out AGAIN. (after the cops warned him he'd get arrested if it happened again). They get to hospital, they ask him why he did it, and he tells them "I figured popping a bunch of pills and calming myself down a risking killing myself was better than my original idea of going to the store and getting a gun and killing somone". Well, they let him outta the hospital, and we don't know what to do. We don't want him at the wedding (afraid he will cause drama) but don't want to start drama with his mother (this is his stepdad). What would you do?!?!

It seems like someone is suing me at the small claim court, and the new tenant of my old apartment (where I moved out 13 months ago) accidently signed the subpeona, and she got my cell number from the manager and left a message like that. Do I have to appear to this trial? Will it be void because I didn't sign the paper? Help. Thanks.

I am 20 and live iwth parents still. They both have car insurance and I will be using there car when I do drive. I don't drive much. Isn't there something called permissable use where I can drive it with their insurance and as long as the car is covered its fine? Can someone provide a link. I am in Illinois.

I bought a crust or crumble kit, whatever it is called, it just says to add apples then sprinkle the crumbs on it! but i want to add something else to the apples to make it taste sweet and good! About the law they are trying to pass in Germany that will limit marriages to 7 yrs.? This is there atempt at controling divorce rates, not to mention the extra money they would make for those who wanted to renew their marriage licenses!. Is this ridiculous or what? Next thing they will be outlawing marriage, but then again they would lose all that money.
