DR's say wait the full 6 weeks. I was out of the hospital after 1 day and was close to normal after 1 week, but I still waited the 6 weeks and then I took it easy for awhile. I had a friend that ripped open her stitches by vacuuming the floor, so i think it is best to err on the side of caution

It really depends on how active you were before and how much pain you can tolerate. Abdominal incisions are painful to recover from but people recover from them at different rates. I would say start exercising or dancing as you tolerate it. And when it gets to be to much, then sit down. I would say wait till the stitches are gone before starting

I guess that it depends on the person. Because the day after I got out of the hospital (3days after c section) I was back to normal, shopping, exercising, errands, etc.

6 weeks, and whenever you feel up to it after that. Take it easy at first.
