I had cataracts but had an operation to have them removed.
Every day was the same with blurred vision all the time. As time went on and they got worse then my vision became worse.

Cataracts are cause when the lens in the eye not the pupil clouds over. The main causes are age and damage from UV light. As the lens becomes more yellow and dense the light reaching the retina is less and less causing the vision to get dimmer and more blurred. As the lens changes shape due to the clouding the prescription can change and in some cases it will get "better" before the lens completely clouds over. The best way to avoid cataracts is to wear sun protection at all times when you are exposed to the sun. Someone else said blueberries were good for your vision, they are right ,blue berries have lots of antioxidants that help to protect the eye. But nothing works better that a good pair of sunglasses!!!

My husband doesn't. A cataract is a clouding of the pupil of the eye. Once it develops, it is always there and always causing problems. If you're asking because some days you have clouds and not other days, you probably have "floaters" instead of cataracts.

It may be dependent on light conditions. I have cataracts, so VERY bright days are bad days, night-time is terrible, but overcast days are good days. I had the surgery done in one eye and it went great! The 2nd eye is now going bad rapidly and I can't wait until I qualify for the operation so I can finally get it fixed as well.
