okay so im a senior in high school, and im really not sure if im going to pass, very low on credits -_-. what is the difference from a GED and a high school diploma, is a GED really worse then a high school diploma? will you still be able to go to a community college or something? what i want to do is go to cosmetology school or something, will i be able to go if i have a GED? sorry if this is a dumb question :]

When I attended college my student loans were put in my fathers name.

Now that I have graduated, I would like to take over the payments.

The loan company (Nelnet) won't let us and say we have to either make payments to my parents or get a personal loan to cover it.
My husband and I are considering the latter.

Any advice??

I have been alone now for three months. I live in "our" home that we bought together. I raise "our" dog, Rocco. We had a great life. Travel, great careers, movie dates, slow dancing in the park with no one around- stuff that movies are made of. Then three weeks b4 my wedding I find out that he committed a felony against an underage girl when he was 19. I think that age is old enough to KNOW better. He never told me.
This has devastated my life. I get sick, cant sleep, vomit blood from stress, fears of going broke. He is completely out of my life, but picking up the pieces after losing what I thought as the Absolute LOVE of my life, has been killing me. I have dreams about him- us at the altar...
My health is suffering. Money's tight- I got stuck with the entire mortgage, all the bills.
I see a young, talented, educated woman when I look in the mirror. Yet, I lost the last five years of my life. Sleep next to the dresser that holds my engagement and wedding bands. Any good advice?

I can't believe all the uproar over one ad in one newspaper by MoveOn. The Senate actually wasted their session time passing a condemnation of it. It's an ad. It doesn't really impact the weflare of this country or it's citizens in any way.

Meanwhile, Gas is $3 a gallon; The American dollar no has so little value it's equal to Canada's currency for the first time in 30 years; We're still losing over 50 troops a month in Iraq and now disease is becoming an issue among the populace there; The housing credit crunch continues; The gulf coast remains fractured; Etc; Etc; Etc.

Am I the only one who feels like we've completely taken our eyes off the ball here-?!?

Ok revision of my last question:
2 months ago I moved in with my uncle as he works out of state and asked me to it is a win win situation as I am a single mom and a full time student and he needs someone to care for his house, bills etc.
He has a german sherpard that he bought as a puppy and put in the backyard and left there.
Since moving in I have trained him to walk on a leash he walks with me to get my daughter and to play at the park. Also he comes inside with me all day instead of being outside which I think my uncle is an as* for just dropping the dog out the door and forgetting about him!!!
I have never had dogs so do not know how to train them, how do I get him to stop barking? He barks on our walks, in the house, if the toilet flushes, kid sneezes etc. I do NOT smack him I should smack my uncle so what do I do to make him stop barking?

When I was a freshmen we had a religious retreat over night at our school. During the end of the day we had to meditate and it was then that I had a vision of Jesus. He walked with me up this hill, everything was like in his time, and he sat on this rock. He looked at me with open arms and told me to embrace him. He loved me and wanted me to be a part of him. He said other things that I really do not remember. I am now a devoted Christian and couldn't see my life without him.

How come when I tell this to people they look at me funny? What is so hard with people excepting something that was true and genuine?

I Have always had a hard time finding bras that actually fit good! I have 38dd s thats not the problem most of the bras that big are for big women and the straps that go around my shoulders are to big so they dont hold them up and also the strap alone my back doesnt go tight enough I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem and what can i do about it any help would be great and please dont tell me to just not wear a bra cuz that s what my boyfriend says to do and ya thats not going to happen lol
