Is Pale Ale considered a "Dark" beer?

No. In fact it isn't a beer. Beer ferments at the bottom of the barrel while ales are 'top fermenters".

IPA or India Pale Ales are an old brew. I would almost classify them as a 'pilsner' except they aren't anywhere near as light as one. But i think referring to it as a dark beer is abit of a stretch.
