What type of audition are we talking about here? If it's for theatre you're choosing the wrong songs. We need to know what you're auditiong for in order to advise you. If it's American Idol you're on the right track.

If it's a theatrical audition, a few REALLY good pieces are "Shy" from Once Apon A Mattress, "Stepsisters Lament" from Cinderella, or "Unexpected Song" for Song and Dance.

I agree with Marianne, we need more info. If it's for musical theatre, what's the show and what's your voice type? Mainly, are you a belter or more legit? Alto or Soprano?
