...as long as the gay person in question doesn't act on their gay impulses?

So you're saying that, if two gay men, for example, love each other, but are afraid of hell, they should never be together? They have to either be alone for the rest of their lives, or enter into a sham marriage with a woman they don't love and have no sexual interest in?

What kind of hell on earth would that be?

I'm 19, graduated high school '07 just started working at macys to pay for college but the pay really isn't enough ($7h). I wanted to get a Job working somewhere close to home, get experience w/ animals, and pay for college. Parents really can't help me money wise and I would feel guilty asking even if they had the money to send me. I can't find anything in ads or online. Question is where should I be looking; am I looking in the wrong places? Most clinics or animal hospitals are full and don't really need any help. Are there any other places that I can get real hands on experience w/ animals other than where I am looking. I'm getting sick of working retail it is just not me. I wouldn't mind making minimum wage if I was doing something I loved and making a real difference. Even if I put forth effort no one really cares.

THIS IS JUST DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!
I want a real job, my dream job I really don't mind hard work. Something like kennel work is what i want to do.

How can a credit card company charge you a late fee if your payment is received only one or two days after the due date? Didn't they used to have a "grace period"?

What the F*&#? This is America. New York has a very large Jewish

community. Is this not the biggest insult to them? Here's the guy

that wants to wipe you and your kind off the face of the Earth.....

Oh yah, and he's here as a guest with diplomatic immunity. Am I

dreaming? Is this a bad dream. Iran has been proven to supply our

enemy with weapons and support. He is the reason our troops are

being murdered. He must be arrested and tried in the world court

for war crimes.

What do you think?

I can spill my gutts about what im feeling, what I want and how i feel, yet he does not respond. My marraige counsellor says this is how some people are, but i find it incredible!! We all have a brain, and a mouth. Why do some people find it so hard to talk or respond? Are you like that? and why? I need to understand how my husbands brain works!

A journalist assigned to the Jerusalem bureau has an apartment overlooking the Wailing Wall.

Every day when she looks out, she sees an old bearded Jewish man praying vigorously.

Certain he would be a good interview subject, the journalist goes down to the Wall, and introduces herself to the old man.

She asks, "You come every day to the Wall. Sir, how long have you done that and what are you praying for?"

The old man replies, "I have come here to pray every day for 25 years. In the morning I pray for world peace and for the brotherhood of man.
I go home have a cup of tea, and I come back and pray for the eradication of illness and disease from the earth. And very, very important, I pray for peace and understanding between the Israelis and Palestinians."

The journalist is impressed.

"How does it make you feel to come here every day for 25 years and pray for these wonderful things?" she asks.

The old man replies, calmly, "Like I'm talking to a freaking wall."

Advice please!!! I lived with these two girls, and my credit card got up to 10k. They were shady and ran it up. I am stuck with the credit now. I really don’t need credit I have a house that is paid for, and I have my car. I am going to trade it in, my grandpa is helping me put it under his name. But now the credit card is up to 14k because of fee’s too. I have not made a payment in about 6 months. The credit card has been sent for collections with another agency. They have my old number at my dads house, so they keep calling my dad, and he is emailing me that they are calling and he is not sure why, they are just bothering him. What do I do??? I don’t want to pay it off because it will be 270mo. For 5 years??? And I already have bad credit because of it, I guess lesson learned. Can they do anything besides keep calling, and how long do they call for? I guess awhile, it is 14k.

I am a full-blooded, patriotic American citizen. Born & raised in the good ole' U.S.A., I take pride in the freedoms that have been afforded and defended for us. I in no way support racism, "scare-rism," or terrorism.

As Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad makes his way to Columbia University this afternoon for this much anticipated interview, we are hearing how despised this man is, coupled with comments admonishing him for his visit to the U.S. in the first place. In case you didn't know, he was denied access to Ground Zero to lay a wreath on the Twin Towers site.

Yes, he hates Israel. Yes, he believes the Holocaust didn't exist. Yes, he supports the old Khomeni's regime of Muslim conservatism. By all conventional American wisdom, he is way out in left field.

Now that he is in America and wishes to establish peaceful dialogue, aren't Americans acting hypocritical regarding "free speech?" If Americans can protest war and curse Bush, can't Ahmadinejad speak?
