CNN polls showed that almost 2/3 of those who earn over $200,000 per year voted for Bush.

But, almost 2/3 of those who earned less than $15,000 per year voted for Kerry and the Dems.

I ask this, because I'm a lacto-ovo-vegetarian who would like to go vegan. Unfortunately, though, I'm having a really hard time giving up my Coke! I know that sugar is sometimes filtered through charred animal bones, but often when I read the lists of ingredients for various sodas, I notice that they're sweetened with corn syrup instead of sugar. Of course, corn syrup is bad for you, but as far as I know, it's still vegan. Does anyone here have any info?

Because my room has a sliding door to the outside, and i leave it open pretty much all the time! My mom doesn't like me to, but if I don't it gets pretty hot and I can't really sleep! But while it's open bugs and who knows what else gets in! (no screen!) What should I do?

I am wanting some opionions on this text habit my wife has recently developed. She text this friend of hers (man) prob. 60 times a day, mostly about nothing but bs stuff. The thing that has started to bother me is this: This wkend we spent in Dallas doing some family stuff and then going to the game. While were together driving fm place to place, she is steadily over there texting the dick. I find it very annoying and somewhat rude. She didn't bring the phone in the game with her, but as soon as it was over and we were in the car.... bam.... she was texting this dick to tell him the score. Why is she so into this sh*t with this dick? She asked if she could take a pic of me and send it to him and that started an argument bc it offended me and I told her hell no. I didn't want to send my pic to that dick. Looking 4 some feedback please.

I committed a nonviolent felony (stole a car) when i was 18 in Atlanta. I am now 24 years old and realize that I need an education to get any farther in life than I am. I have just recently gotten my GED and plan on going into graphic design or architecture if I am able. My question is : Will this hold me back from a career? Because of how long ago the crime was (2002), my present and past employers haven't held it against me but they weren't career type jobs unless you like to dig in dirt or do construction. I want to make something out of myself and plan on working my butt off to get there. I just need to know if it is doable. Thanks in advance!!!

If the earth heats up will the 2 polls of the earth weaken resulting in the earth getting farther from the sun, resulting in a cool down of the earth and a strengthen of the earths polls bringing us back close to the sun..and forever repeated...

If everyone in a hot country threw ice cubes or water outside in the warm weather would it cool the earth down by drying up and then raining more than it naturally would?

If global warming is causing these hurricanes, tornadoes, floors and tsunami's will they cut down on global warming due to the death of humans and animals(because we breath in gases and out carbon gases... and all the other ways we use electric and gases)

If the ice caps melt and we get more floods many more plants will grow taking away the carbon and giving oxygen cooling down the earth

If we created a device that would literally change carbon gases into other gases(this is possible) would it be possible to reverse global warming

i have just had my car stolen and was wandering if it was worth claiming on. It is insured for £2500 and they are willing to right it off and pay up but I have a new car that I need to get insurance for. My cheapest qoute is £450. Anyone have a rough idea how much my insurance would go up if I claimed for my old car?? Basically... should i just accept my losses on the old car or claim. cheers

my ex-gf from 3 years ago really scrwd up my life and caused a lot of pain and misery. i think a suitable revenge would be to get her evicted from section 8 and that way also keep her from transferring to an apt close to me. can anyone think about this real hard and come up with some good ways of getting her to lose her apt? the thing is, if she is guilty of committing a crime on the premises, that is excuse for the subsidized housing to evict her, but thats as far as I got.

over religious views? It's really interesting how many of the questions are about religion and Atheist vs. Christians. So, I've come up with a theory about why Atheist takes such an interest in Christians and vice versa. Here it comes: They just can't understand how someone can/can't believe!

And when most people don't understand something they take an interest in solving the "mystery". I mean, how many of you Atheist can't possibly understand some of the things Christians believe in, or just believing in a God? An Christians, how many of you just can't picture NOT believing at all? Strange, huh? So if there is such a fundamental difference between religious and non-religious people in how they think; does it still have to be so hard understanding and respecting other peoples views/beliefs? (Not my own opinion, just the general idea of all Q&A i experience here.)

Hi,
I've seen some ans but no one really comes out and gives a complete ans on this one.

We have a deck that we used deck wash and a pressure washer on. The railings and part of the floor still have some old stain on it, however. I'm wondering, since stain will repel itself anyway, can we go ahead and use a similar color and just restain the deck at this point? Or, do we have to use a stripper first, then restain? Seems to me that if we match the color closely, we only have to restain.

Hi.
I'm a 14 year old female, and in the past month, I've passed out once, and came extremely close two other times. Previously, I've never passed out, and never came close either. I'm healthy and active, so this is confusing. What usually happens is that I'll get an extremely severe stomach ache, then everything will start to go Pigmenty (like bad reception on a television) everyone will sound distant, and then everything starts to go black, and starts spinning,and then i pass out. I really want to figure this out, but I'm at a loss. It doesn't have any set pattern, and can happen out of nowhere. It happens more often in heat/humidity, however yesterday at church I almost passed out, and the church is air conditioned. Any tips, illnesses I may have, advice, anything i will greatly appreciate it. This is just untill I go to the doctor tomorow. Thanks in advance :)
