Hi.
I'm a 14 year old female, and in the past month, I've passed out once, and came extremely close two other times. Previously, I've never passed out, and never came close either. I'm healthy and active, so this is confusing. What usually happens is that I'll get an extremely severe stomach ache, then everything will start to go Pigmenty (like bad reception on a television) everyone will sound distant, and then everything starts to go black, and starts spinning, and then i pass out. I really want to figure this out, but I'm at a loss. It doesn't have any set pattern, and can happen out of nowhere. It happens more often in heat/humidity, however yesterday at church I almost passed out, and the church is air conditioned. Any tips, illnesses I may have, advice, anything i will greatly appreciate it. This is just untill I go to the doctor tomorow. Thanks in advance :)

While it may be nothing serious, you should really see y our doctor asap! Good luck and stay healthy! :)

Fainting can happen when not enough oxygen flows through your blood and into your brain. You lose consciousness, or "pass out," for a very brief time -- just a few seconds or minutes.

A sudden drop in your blood pressure can cause you to faint. Sometimes your heart rate and blood vessels can't react fast enough when your body's need for oxygen changes. This is very common among older people. It can happen when:
You stand up fast.
You work or play hard, especially if it's very hot.
You begin to breathe too fast (called hyperventilating).
You get very upset. Being upset can affect the nerves that control your blood pressure.
You're taking medicine for high blood pressure.
Coughing, urinating and stretching can also get in the way of the flow of oxygen to the brain and may be a cause of fainting. If you faint once during one of these activities, it's probably not something to worry about. But if it happens more than once, you should tell your doctor about it.

If you faint when you turn your head to the side, the bones in your neck may be pinching on one of the blood vessels that leads to your brain. If this happens to you, be sure to tell your doctor about it.

A drop in your blood sugar may also cause you to faint. This can happen if you have diabetes, but it may also happen if you don't eat for a long time.

Some prescription medicines can cause fainting. Be sure to talk to your doctor if you think your fainting may be related to a medicine you're taking. Alcohol, cocaine and marijuana can also cause fainting.

More serious causes of fainting include seizures and problems with the heart or with the blood vessels leading to the brain.

Maybe your not eating enough good foods for energy.. but there is a high chance you may have a breathing or heart problem so it's a good idea to get it checked out.

Definitely see a doctor. High or low blood sugar could even be a possibility.

Hard to know whether this is anything seroius or not, but you definitely need to see a doctor. It could be something as simple as fainting (vasovagal) to something a serious as heart problems.

I was going to say heat exhaustion until you said it almost happened in air conditioning...are you drinking enough water? I'd definitely mention it to my doctor...

Good luck.
