The Oak Tree. He is just a great tree, I also like Weeping Willows especially alongside a river they look so serene and dance with such grace. I also like The Cherry Blossom only the blooms don't last long enough. I like The Horse Chesnut as it reminds me of being a child collecting conkers. Gosh I like so many I think I want to be a tree

LILAC
This is sort of iffy because some call the lilac a bush, yet it can grow up to 30 feet tall, which to me is quite treelike. The one in our next-door neighbor's lawn was at least 20 feet tall. When lilacs grow large, they are wonderful places to hide since their branches bow down to the ground, leaving a large space between the trunk and where the branches touch. It's shadowed, cool and fragrant.
As a child, I would take my latest book and crawl in under the branches, where I could sit or lie down. The fragrance is exquisite, as delicate as the flowers. Some of the little blossoms that are starting to fade will fall from the branches, drifting down, nearly as light as feathers, in a pale-violet shower. The neighbor's tree was that color called lilac though they can be white and pink, too.
Lilac: It's a pretty word I think, almost as beautiful as the name of my second-favorite tree.
MIMOSA
This is another flowering tree, and we had one in the front lawn at the place we used to live. When you gently touch the feathery-looking blooms, they close! Later, they unfold again, almost like anemones in the sea. I find it as magical now as I did when my mom and dad first showed this to my sister and me when we were little girls. The fragrance is delicate, too. It's not surprising that lilac and mimosa have been popular fragrances for a very long time.
But, the lilac is first in my affections.

I love so many trees but for some reason I have always wanted a Rowan tree. They are lovely festooned with orange berries and frond like foliage. I believe they were a sacred mystical tree in Egypt many centuries ago. Maybe I have lived a past life there and that is why I like them so much.

The Pine Tree, First because of the refreshing, clean scent it gives off. Second, the Dogwood, because of the beautiful blossoms.

The Oak tree, just because of their age and some of the twisted shapes they've grown into.
