I live in the UK.On Friday I knocked over a cup of black tea at my desk and badly scalded my arm. I have been signed off work for two weeks by a hospital burns unit. I won't lose any salary and a colleague has suggested I file a compensation claim. As I am half way through a 12 month contract and hoping to have torenewed, would I be stupid to try and sue the company.

How to reject a gift?

My friend's parents are giving me a 100 bucks as a college present, but I feel really bad about accepting it because I don't even know them that well. What's a good way to reject the gift without seeming rude? Or should I just take the money.. ?

Please give your advice on this?

I have pure breed,pure white Rag Doll 21.2lbs and she's deaf,can't here anything only goes by vibrations when you walk and what not,she had to stay at my parents for a bit while i had to go somewhere else,never mind where i went,she was there for a month i got her back 3 days ago and she seems deleriuse or something and flicks her ears and shakes her head,i'v looked in her ears and didn't see mites or anything,but her eyes are glassy and all she does is sleep,please don't write take her to the vett.What should i do?C an i clean her ears with my q-tips?Thankyou.Oh she'll be 4yrs old soon.

Liberals and Conservatives May Be Hardwired Differently?

I include a link to an article I read in Yahoo news about scientific findings which suggest that the brains of those who are politically liberal and politically conservative may, in fact, be hard wired for different behaviors.
