There is nothing that more US troop could do. They are already in between the two countries so any move to invade would already have to go through us. Iran has been showing off their rockets that could hit Israel and Iran could not be intimidated by air strikes. They sent children in to clear minefield during the Iran Iraq war. Given how upset Israelis were by what Hezbollah fired at them, I really doubt the will take on Iran.

Actually just the navy, Newt was just on the news and said what I've been saying for a while. Iran has one gas refinery and imports 40% of it's gas. So take out the refinery and blockade any imports and Iran will be paralzed within a few weeks.
