Me and my husband are expecting our first, and we bring in enough money to not have it, but...is it still a good idea to consider getting WIC or food stamps, the stuff is free so... I'm stuck between deciding if we should or not.

Some critics of the Trinity doctrine claim that since the word "trinity" is not found in the Bible, it isn't true. Furthermore, some assert that if God wanted us to believe in the Trinity He would have stated the doctrine clearly.
First of all, it is illogical to claim that since the word "Trinity" is not found in the Bible that its concept is not taught therein. This kind of objection usually demonstrates a prejudice against the teaching of the Trinity. Instead, the person should look to God's word to see if it is taught or not.
Second, there are many biblical concepts that people believe in that don't have a specific word describing them used in the Bible. For example, the word "bible" is not found in the Bible, but we use it anyway to describe the Bible. Likewise, the words "omniscience," which means "all knowing," "omnipotence," which means "all powerful," and "omnipresence," which means "present everywhere," are words not found in the Bible either, but we use them to describe the attributes of God. We don't have to see a specific word in the Bible in order for the concept it describes to be true.
Following are other words that the Bible does not use but the concepts are mentioned.

Atheism is the teaching that there is no God. "The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God" (Psalm 14:1).

Divinity which means divine quality or godlike character. Yet, we speak of the godlike quality of the Lord God. See Psalm 139.

Incarnation which means the word (God) who became flesh. Yet, this is definitely taught in the Bible (John 1:1,14).

Monotheism is the teaching that there is only one God (Isaiah 43:10; 44:8).

My five year old son has to wear glasses as of this summer. I let him pick them out and he was very excited about doing that but he won't wear them. Today I tried to get him to wear them to Kindergarten class and he flipped out when we got to school - kicking and screaming.

Any advice on how to get him to feel comfortable wearing them? He tells me he looks stupid in them and he's just a very sensitive kid.

I am a male, age 24 and over the last six months I have grown my hair from nearly shaved to 4 inches long. Ever since it has reached around two inches I have been noticing that when I shower, as I run my fingers through my hair, I will have a small amount of hair stuck to my hand. It happens when I run my hair through the sides of my head too, but primarily it happens on the top. My question is, is this normal of longer hair or am I starting to show signs of balding or thinning? If so, is there anything I can do to prevent further thinning? Thanks in advance!

We took a 3-hour trip in the spring, in a vintage five-car train, and we sat in the last car, which was not air conditioned, but you could open the window. It was great fun.

The same company is doing it again this fall for a Civil War re-enactment, but we'll pass. We've gotten hooked, though. We're looking for other day train trips, like the one in the Shenandoah Valley to see the fall foliage.

If I said " I am laughing on u " does this makes sense ?

Or it could be " I am laughing about u "

OR Laughing shouldn't have a preposition after it ?

For example , If I did something funny or said some jokes ... Will u laugh on me ? or ... will you laugh about me ?
OR will u laugh because of me ?

I am looking for a great recipe for biscuits that are puffy and moist. I dont want any cheese or anything added, just a plain old biscuit recipe. I have one but the biscuits seem like they are missing something and they dont get real puffy. Any ideas why? The batter seems a bit loose maybe to much fluid?

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little--but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me--but let me go.

For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan,
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss Me--But Let me Go!

Ron Paul is a long time Gold advocate and wants to return the U.S. to a sound, Gold backed type of money.
He has written several books on the subject.

I don't think it's a coincidence that, so far, the price of Gold is rising today:

The whole worlds financial system, using mostly the American dollar, has been on real shaky ground for the last 3 or 4 weeks, because of mortgage defaults.
Is this a rush out of the U.S. dollar and into wealth preserving Gold, the start of a huge loss of confidence for the U.S. dollar?
