Yes, it is hurting you believe it or not. Eating breakfast jump starts your metabolism and helps you burn more calories throughout the day. There's a Special K commercial about that. It doesn't take much, just some toast, yogurt or a small bowl of cereal. It helps keep you more satisfied throughout the day too.

Also, believe it or not, not eating enough can hinder your weight loss too. Your body goes into "survival mode" when you don't eat enough and doesn't spend those extra fat stores. It's the way we're hardwired. I know it seems counterproductive, but it's very true. I just finished Weight Watchers and that's one of the things they taught us.

So, start eating breakfast, preferably something that low in sugar and high in fiber. You don't have to eat it first thing in the morning, eat when you're hungry in the morning. I eat at 10am usually. That keeps me full till around lunch time, and I noticed that I don't eat as much for lunch and have a small snack in the afternoon. You have to keep fuel going in, in order to see results of the weight loss. Keep moving too!

It's definitely related. While NOT eating breakfast doesn't HURT you, it absolutely helps to eat breakfast. The point of breakfast is to eat a small meal consisting of a small version of the food pyramid (milk, oj, fruit, and carbs-your cereal or toast or whatever). This meal gives you energy for the day, as well as fills you up so that you aren't as hungry later. But eating breakfast can hurt you if you eat at Cracker Barrel every morning or something; really fatty, rich breakfast with pancakes and white toast and crappy cereal is terrible!!! I reccommend eating a piece of wheat toast, a grapefruit, and egg, and drink OJ for breakfast. It's healthy and gives you a little boost. It's helped me lose weight, because it helps you align your eating habits. You won't eat as much later on in the day, which is why it's most important.

Not eating breakfast is the worst thing you should do for any reason. First, it will make you hungrier later in the day. It causes your blood sugar to get to low and you will lose energy and get irritable. Finally, it increases your risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
Eat a healthy, protein filled breakfast everyday. If you can't eat breakfast at least make a protein shake with yogurt, fruit and protein powder. You will get better results if you exercise in the morning. Good luck.

yes it could very well be hurting your diet. you need to eat breakfast to boost your motabilism in to working in the morning. If you don't your body will store more fat during the day. Working out too much can also hurt you you need to remember what you eat gives you energy if you work out too much it makes your body think you are starving and it will hold on to every calorie you eat. just a granola bar in the mornings is all it takes. just give your body a wake up call LOL it will do wonders for your weight loss.

eat healthy foods, eat a small breakfast and then small meals every four hours. Then there is another part of weight loss that is hard to do.. Exercise. That with a healthy food intake will reduce your weight.

YES... you need to eat breakfast. Even a low-fat low cal fruit bar will work or a piece of wheat toast.... Ideally you should consume about 300 calories for breakfast, it keeps you from eating so much later in the day. (300 cals for lunch, 500 cals for supper). I lost 60ish+ pounds last year and have kept it off.

To lose weight you have to eat breakfast. Just grab an apple or a cereal bar. Or even a glass of orange juice and piece of toast.
