PAPERS?!?!?!?! i printed out these format papers for my homework and i guess i left them on the counter in the kitchen. anyways, i need them now and i cant find them and so i ask my mom and she says she put them on my desk so i go and look for them and LO AND BEHOLD, they are NOT THERE. i am completely miffed not only becuase my mother always smooshes my things but IF THEY WERE THERE WHY ARENT THEY THERE NOW?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Well I turned on my computer and popups appeared. I pressed X on all of them. So I waited for Firefox to work and when fire fox opened its home page..Sounds just started playing! It was like some random people talking and laughing or whatever. And I pressed Ctrl + alt + delete and no Internet browser was on except fire fox's home page..Can anyone help me out? It's really annoying and kinda creepy. Is this a virus or program? If so can anyone tell me how to delete it? Ill give 10 points.

I've been feeling lonely lately because my husband has been working a lot, my mom and sister live about 2 hrs away so i dont get to spend much time with them. I usually go to my sis in law's house so i dont stay home alone but it's not the same, they're just there, we dont really talk much so i just watch tv. It makes me feel lonely and i get depressed a lot, i get frustratred and it's obviously hurting my husband because i kind of take my anger out on him. Any advice?? please?? He's looking for a better job so he doesn't have to work as much.

We have been paying rent on time for the last 2 years however we havent had hot water for the last 4 months we still pay rent on time and today i asked him when is it gettin fixed he got upset at me and told me that the best thing we should do is move out I started crying of course i felt really upset but I dont want to move out with my boyfriend we fight alot and he has a child and i dont think hes over his ex just like i dont think im over mine and I feel that if we move out somewhere else its going to be what he says goes and i dont want to deal with that mess ive been living here for the last 4 years at one point on my own to go move out with him to deal with drama and gettin kicked out i shouldnt do it should I someone please help with advice.

So this "old friend" who my boyfriend says means NOTHING to him was his first kiss when he was 16 years old. We're 20 now. He hasn't talked to her in over a year. I asked him if he always will hold a place in his heart for her, and he told me not to get mad. He said that, he probably will just because she was his first kiss and a good friend. He told me that their relationship was nothing, but I don't believe that. I did get upset, and he told me that he didn't mean anything by it, and I took it the wrong way. He said by "place in his heart" all he meant was that he'll always remember her, but there's no emotion/feeling there. Do you think he is lying? What do you think he meant?

Hi, I was arrested on a misdemeanor this year for which I was able to enter the diversion program in my county. As long as I have my community service obligations fulfilled before my court date next month, the record will be expunged. My question is this: while I am in this program will this incident show up on a background check? The verdict was set-aside until my court date next month and the application I am filling out only requires me to note any convictions.

I have noticed several times that if a person asks an emotional question on sensitive issues like race, abortion, etiquette etc.. if the person who asks this question is a good-looking & good-natured woman who means no harm, then people are ready to go ballistic and rude on her because they don't agree with her point of view.

HOWEVER, if the questioner is like the tough & no-bull type of guy, then the responses all seem to be in line & no one dares to raise their emotion towards the person.

Why does this happen on public boards like Y!A? Why do people like to let out their rage on innocent people & their answers normally get more thumbs-ups than thumbs-downs?

I just started a new job a week ago today. When I started, I filled out an I-9 with two forms of ID. I was just informed TODAY that one of the forms of ID was not valid (it was a school ID) which they failed to mention at the time. I am supposed to get direct-deposit paid on Friday. Will it still go through without a complete I-9?
